🌬️🪘🦴🕊️🤍🫖💫 Ancient Healing Arts Tuesday did not disappoint yesterday. Oh my! I was grateful for a small session, so they could experience my newly created body drums, with a full rebozo wrap and closing the bones ritual. Just Wow. Gratitude in advance for reading this…
🕊️ A few weeks ago, my friend/mentor/fellow healing drum keeper woman, Sophie Messager sent me photos of a European body drum, (gratitude sent) and shared the chant, following a conversation we had about drum massage. “Sandy, have you seen this?” Well, some things, you just can’t unsee, right? And if you know me, well, you know…. Well, the expense of a drums shipping a drum from Europe was out of the question, and I happen to be a drum maker, so decided to design and create my own during some rest time in the last few weeks. I set a 3 day intention for the horse drum to resonate with the bottom 3 chakras, our 2nd brain - the enteric nervous system, and birthed her, from the womb of the lake. It was a deeply intentional and personal time. Jon burned a beautiful winding leaf and vine (breath) pattern around the frame, and blessed her with me, so she has incredible feminine and masculine energy. She has a four direction handle and is held by a rebirthed vintage mink stole, felted wool and mink drum wand holders, and custom mink and beaver drum healing mallets that were created with her. Sound healing mallets matter! Her rhythm & deep healing resonance, is above & beyond any sound I could have ever manifested! Then, I rebirthed my Middle Eastern Dobani for the heart and top three chakras, perfect! I couldn’t be happier with the end result. Yes, giddy is a good word, and always grateful! 🌬️🪘🌀🦴Tuesday morning’s session was beyond ethereal. The experience is witnessing this body drum’s resonance moving through the body, wow. Two full body, Roots to Rise Healing Drum Journeys & Reiki Drum Massages, rebozo & closing bones ritual, and a whole lot of amazing stillness, trust in stillness, deeply accessing body held wisdom, embodying rhythm and transition, and tranquil healing energy. A journey in fully inhabiting our bodies with voice and rhythm, and trusting inner wisdom, wrapping in a cocoon of healing safety within. This drum is magnificent! Love language for the soul.
