It's hard to imagine, but on Saturday at lunch, the Stonegate Dietary Team prepared its 1,000th meal service for the residents this year, and with that, one of our residents was our 100,000th meal this year! So, we decided to have a little celebration and serve a special dessert. Marco prepared a little apple fritter with a warm apple-cinnamon compote with sweet cream, a dehydrated apple chip with a kiwi drizzle! Congratulations to our Dietary Team for this annual milestone!

Thursday, December 18 at 6 PM The Annual Festival of Trees takes centerstage for some very good causes. Stonegate Residents, Departments and Local Businesses and Service Organizations create some truly magical trees which are put up for raffle! There is no cost for this event however attendees are encouraged to purchase raffle tickets and "bid" on their favorite tree or trees. Light appetizers and and libations will be served. Raffle tickets are $1 per ticket or 12 for $10.

We are still looking for a few families or businesses to decorate a tree for a good cause. We provide the tree - you provide the creativity and decorations. If this sounds like something you would be interested in doing contact Tina Bausick at 810-245-9300.
