Last week, Stonegate Health Campus hosted the 3rd Annual Purple Party. A wine dinner that raised funds and a glass to support the Alzheimer's Association. Our Culinary Team created a magnificent five-course wine dinner paired with some outstanding wines donated by local restaurants and individuals to make this event spectacular. Our Life Enrichment, Marketing, Housekeeping and Social Work Departments all joined forces to put this evening together. Courses included - Lavender Infused Goat Cheese Crostini, Creamy Purple Potato and Leek Soup, Braised Short Ribs with mashed Parsnips and Red Wine Poached Pears and a Blackberry Tartlet with orange curd.

Full speed ahead toward the Purple Party. This is Stonegate's five-course wine dinner raising a glass and funds for the Alzheimer's Assn. Only a handful of tickets remain for this culinary event. Tickets are $50 each and reservations is a must. Contact Tony Stroh (Life Enrichment Director) at 810-245-9300. Stonegate's Purple Party - Wednesday, October 22, 2025 @ 6PM - oh! You must wear purple.

We now find ourselves in the midst of Theme Week here at Stonegate with a Captain's Table/Cruise for the week. Residents have been greeted by some new "roommates" just in time for showers!

The return of the Quarterly Resident Art Show comes to Stonegate. Each quarter the Life Enrichment Team assembles an assortment of artwork created over the previous quarter and puts it on display for family and friends for the monthly brunch. Here's a sneak peek of what's on display this month!

This past Sunday, Stonegate Health campus was able to provide one of our Assisted Living residents with their very own Live a Dream Family Reunion. We learned, while talking to family, that Mildred H had not been able to attend a family reunion in nearly a decade, so we suggested to the family, "Why don't we have it here at Stonegate?", so that's exactly what we did. With the support of our local tent company, Tents R Up, we provided the tent, table and chairs, along with our local u-pick Kairos Farm, which provided the flowers for the centerpieces. Guests were able to feast on our traditional Sunday brunch and catch up with each other for the afternoon. We were able to create a Live a Dream that this family will not soon forget.

We're gonna love you come rain or come shine! Stonegate's Summer Concert Series featuring Paul Ritchie will continue as scheduled today at 2 p.m. but instead of being outdoors, we are bringing it in to Town Square! This performance is free and open to the public. Refreshments available for purchase

Michigan Native, Paul Ritchie, spent 25 years of his performing career on the QEII and QMII for the Cunard Cruise Line as the Principle Singer on these ships.

Just as a reminder, Stonegate Health Campus will be the host for a June Summer Concert Series taking place every Thursday at 2 PM.
This Thursday, June 5 at 2 pm we are pleased to present Steve Figgins and Friends.

This Concert Series is free and open to the public. refreshments will be available for purchase.

No matter what the weather, we have you covered (literally) under the Big Top !

We hope to see you there. Bring a lawn chair if you have one we will have limited seating available.

Not only are these activities fun – they also provide our residents with a healthy, supportive energy pattern in the mid-morning and the late afternoon, while offering a recharging rest period immediately after lunch.

A Week in Review! Last week marked our second quarter Theme Week with "Hollywood Gala" as our theme! With some of our activities changing our topics to reflect the theme (celebrity Jeopardy, Movie Musical Trivia...), we also pulled off a four-night Movie Festival featuring Academy Award-winning movies: Terms of Endearment, Driving Miss Daisy, Rear Window, and Casablanca. In addition to this, we also brought a photographer to the campus and created some wonderful Glamour Shots of our residents to be unveiled for the theme dinner! Each day, our culinary team created a nod to Hollywood featuring foods authentic to Southern California and from hot spots in LA, such as The Brown Derby, The Hollywood Roosevelt, and Olvera Street. For our theme dinner on Thursday, residents were treated to an Academy Award Dinner complete with a VIP Goody Bag, followed by an electric performance by Suzi Marsh. From the smiles on their faces, the residents had a great time each and every day.
