A day to recognize the beauty, strength, and incredible potential of individuals with Down syndrome. They teach us about kindness, patience, joy, and unconditional love in ways that truly make the world a better place.

Let’s continue to spread awareness, promote inclusion, and celebrate every extra chromosome that makes these amazing individuals who they are. Different, not less.

Today, we at Mercy Kids Rehab had the privilege of bringing the LAMP (Language Acquisition through Motor Planning) workshop to our community 💙

In partnership with Texas A&M International University (TAMIU), who graciously hosted the event, we were able to provide an incredible learning experience for therapists, parents, and professionals looking to better support individuals with communication needs 🙌

This workshop focused on empowering individuals who use AAC devices and gave us valuable tools to continue improving communication, engagement, and outcomes for the children and families we serve ✨

We are proud to invest in ongoing education and bring meaningful resources to our community. Thank you to everyone who attended and made today such a success 💛
