Congratulations to my client and friend! AL’S STORY...

Al is the President of a large company in Tampa Bay. He came to TrYumph because the stress (and business meals) put his health in the back seat.

Despite some self-attempts to lose weight, Al’s weight and blood sugar levels kept going up. So, he came to TrYumph to get help and guidance.

We put a realistic plan together for his hectic schedule and Al lost 50 pounds of fat and gained 12 pounds of metabolic muscle. And lowered his A1C from over 8 to 5.6 and made his doctor (and his wife) very happy!

Now Al is back on the tennis courts playing the sport he loves with energy to spare and a smile to share!

What an amazing day! Ed Mylett in person had me crying real tears. He reminded me in a poweful way, I’m “one decision away” from doing something God is tapping me on the shoulder about.

And this powerful truth:

Today I’m embracing my inner wolf (that’s me howling softly). What is your spirit animal?

My spirit animals have always been the Eagle and the Wolf. If I ever write an autobiography, that will be the title.

The Eagle representing my patriotism and desire to fly high (why I went to the United States Air Force Academy).

The Wolf because I can run solo but love being a leader in a pack.

I wrote and won a national essay contest about the Bald Eagle when I was in elementary school. I quoted a song from John Denver…

“all those who see me, all those who believe in me, share in the freedom I feel when I fly.”

Those words always resonated with me and actually shaped my goals growing up.

I wanted to be a fighter pilot (F-15 Eagle) and serve our country. I believed it was my destiny.

But God had other plans…

A small muscle that controls movement in my left eye prevented me from living my dream.

But I received a bigger and better dream life only possible by living through the disappointments and dark valleys of my 20’s and 30’s.

I now fly higher than I ever dreamt possible as a husband to my amazing wife Hollie Lynch O'Brien and a daddy to my two beautiful boys Keegan and Kaeden.

It’s easy to focus on our disappointments.

But we can easily miss seeing the beauty and blessings in our lives.

Cheers to flying high and running with your pack!
