Our clinic is attempting a new scheduling protocol that allows us to utilize available appointment times as efficiently as possible. As a result, and in an attempt to conserve resources, if we have no one scheduled in the afternoons or a weekday’s schedule, we may close early and/or be out of the office on those days.

We truly apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and want to assure you we’re still available to meet your child’s needs. We will be closely monitoring any telephone messages received during the hours we’re closed and will make every effort to return time-sensitive needs. As always if you have an emergency, please go to Urgent Care or the ER.

We will also be posting current updates related to possible closures as they occur both on the door and on our page (NM Primary Care Pediatrics).

It’s our sincere hope that these changes will be temporary, and we will be back to our normal hours as soon as possible. Please stay healthy and well, we value all of you and appreciate your patience and understanding.

Especially given the stories we're all hearing in the news lately about this insanely destructive trend that's killing so many, this is wonderful information!

I would encourage everyone to have Naloxone on hand because you simply never know if you'll be in a situation to save someone's life! Just as I encourage everyone to have Plan B as we all know so many women and girls that may not have access to it and unfortunately in the world we live in, you cannot predict who or when you might be able to help!

I also can't stress enough the importance of people remembering that one size does NOT fit all, with anything you can think of! Fentanyl is flat out deadly in huge numbers right now, absolutely no doubt about this, and also if you're in a horrible accident, sustain a severe injury or burn, or are in a situation causing incredibly high levels of pain, Tylenol or Ibuprofen just simply aren't appropriate!
