In response to recent developments, the Women’s Leadership Summit will be postponed until a later date. While the risk of contracting the illness remains low, it is out of an abundance of caution to prevent the spread of coronavirus COVID-19 that the planning committee has decided to suspend our event.

As leaders and future leaders in the healthcare industry, community safety is our highest priority and this includes protecting the health and well-being of our attendees. Please know that this decision was not made lightly and we sincerely regret any inconvenience this causes.

Our top priority is the safety and wellbeing of our meeting attendees. With the Women’s Leadership Summit closely approaching, we are closely monitoring COVID-19 activity.
At this time, we have no plans to alter the event schedule. We are a local, half day production that does not see people traveling to attend.

At the event, we will be implementing the following precautions to reduce transmission of all illnesses:
• Declare a handshake-free event.
• Include hand washing and other hygiene reminders
• Provide increased access to hand sanitizer throughout the conference area

If you are experiencing the symptoms of fever, cough or lower respiratory illness, we kindly ask you to stay home. If you are in a high risk group we ask you to use your personal judgement in deciding to attend.
