Strong weekend running Super Nats 28
Proud to represent RPG!!
My first trip to Vegas & racing this event!!

Top 10 finish is something to build on & it was an incredible experience with friends, family & fellow drivers!!

An amazing experience running Super Nats 28 for the first time!!

74 drivers in KA JR & only 41 advanced to the 22 lap feature on Sunday.
Started 26th & fell back to 31st on the start but drove a clean race & finished 10th!!
Some of the best drivers from multiple countries & all over the United States competing & a top 10 is a win!!

Qualified P28
Heat 1 DNF
Heat 2 6th
Heat 3 6th
After points were totaled top 34 made the feature & I was sloted to start 26th
35-74 had to race a last chance qualifier with only 7 advancing for a field of 41.

An amazing experience running Super Nats & I learned a lot.

Badger Kart Club put on an amazing event this past weekend…. Thor’s Throwdown which included tons of cash & prizes for each class (206 briggs motors only)
Brady ran Senior Medium with a total of 32 karts
Practice day on Saturday the kart & driver looked great

Sunday Qualified P1 ($50)
Prefinal winner
The series then took the top 6 for a 4 lap dash race for a $100 gift certificate Brady won that

Feature started P1 (20 laps)
Got a great start while drivers battled behind him Brady was able to get a comfortable lead
But after about 18 1/2 laps he came under fire
Was able to hold off second place & win the race.
$1000 for the winner 💪😎🙌

Pretty hard to run the table against 32 divers but the Coyote Motorsports chassis & Lawson Speed Shop motor were both perfect!!

Brady’s teammate Quinten Kart Racing ran 2 races
Won 206 heavy class
& 3rd in Brady’s class 206 Medium

Brady put together an incredible performance this weekend with Route 66 Sprint Series at Badger Kart Club for the final round of racing!!

KA 100Jr
Qualified P2 but received a 2 position bumper penalty for making contact with the kart in front of him after crossing the line… lesson learned & a teachable moment!!
Heat 1 made some quick moves to get out in front of the field…. While they battled back & forth for 2nd …:…Brady was able to secure a victory!’
Heat 2 started P1 & got a great start… passed after lap 1 & these 2 chased each other with very similar lap times but Brady couldn’t catch the leader.
20 lap Feature started P2 & we made adjustments to the chassis & felt confident in the set up.
Again got a great start & had the lead… after lap 1 fell to 2nd & then shortly after that to 3rd… battled back and forth for that 2nd position but finally found his groove & tracked down the leader & passed for the lead with 4 laps to go!!
With 2 laps to go Brady started defending but slipped back to 2nd & this brought 3 other karts into the mix!
This is where this gets super complicated as a driver..
Leader in front & 3 karts behind you!!
You’re trying to set up for the lead but also have to defend the drivers behind you who all want the victory!!
Race craft can not be taught.. you have to experience it & learn!! Brady has learned an amazing amount this season & on the 2nd last turn set up for a pass on the leader & was able to find a way for a huge victory!!

Our goal this season was to repeat with the championship but early mishaps this season left him in 5th place overall but still a strong season

Qualified P3 mechanic missed the set up
Heat 1 Brady & another driver were able to check out from the field & battled it out w 2 laps to go & Brady came out with a victory!!
Heat 2 the same 2 drives checked out & Brady had the lead but w with a half of lap to go he left the door cracked open & the other driver worked past him for a victory!!
20 lap feature
The same 2 drivers worked together to get away from the field & exchanged the lead a few times… Brady found himself in the lead w 2 to go & was able to defend for the victory & the Season CHAMPIONSHIP
