Stable Connections is an educational program that combines various academic subjects with fun, engaging activities with horses to enhance learning and help develop important life skills. Learning these skills happens naturally when working with horses! As always, our primary goal is to offer students meaningful horse interaction in a safe and nurturing environment.

We have a few openings available this month! Once you are in our program, you are given first option to keep that spot moving forward (into the New Year!) We also offer flexible scheduling and make-up classes if you have conflicts during the session. Please call, text or message us for more info, or to secure your spot!

We will also be offering some special classes and events during the Holiday Break with all the activities kids love: holiday art projects, fun games, and always HORSES!

🐎 Introducing Stable Connections - Our New Educational Program! 🐎

For Fall of 2023, we are expanding our educational offerings with a new program for ages 6 and up called Stable Connections, where we will combine various academic subjects with fun, engaging activities with horses to enhance learning and help develop important life skills (teamwork, perseverance, problem-solving, effective communication, empathy, etc.) Learning these skills happens naturally when working with horses! As always, our primary goal is to offer students meaningful horse interaction in a safe, fun and nurturing environment.

Students will have an opportunity to help choose the focus of their session. A few of the options include:

-Horse Science (review, practice and new material)
-Famous horses and their impact on history
-Exploring math through horse measurements and calculations
-Poetry in Motion, writing poems about horses (learning parts of speech such as adjectives)
-Horse Art discuss famous horse-themed art and create our own masterpieces
-Choreographing routines with horses to music
-Riding Disciplines-such as roping, vaulting/trick riding, hunter/jumper etc.(learning about tack, type of saddles used and trying out each discipline in the arena)
-Learning about equine related jobs such as farrier, veterinarian, trainer and jockey
-How to teach a horse a trick

We will have a maximum of 6 participants in each class. Some spots have already been filled by our existing students, but we have openings in the sessions listed in the photo above.
