REAL TALK
not moving makes you lazy
and that might sound like a no brainer

but something I hear from my clients and I’ve experienced for myself is the subtle way small tasks become MENTALLY easier.

for example:
something falls on the ground…
before there would be a good chunk of time where I debate just leaving it there, maybe picking it up later when I really needed something else.

then something [shifts] you get up without a second thought.

forget something in another room? Just get up and get it.

need something upstairs? Just get up and get it.

washing the dog? yup. just gonna do it.

these are small ways you get your life back that people don’t talk about. because you don’t really notice it until it starts happening!

time for a BIG shift.

my friend said the other day she noticed that the things I say I’m gonna do…i actually do.

and yeah, not being depressed will definitely help ya out.
but so does a shift in how I ACTUALLY show up for myself

not just talking about it, not just helping others achieve it. but doing it for myself.

and when I stop to think about it, it’s unfortunate how long I felt like I didn’t have the bandwidth or the self worth to do it.

breaking that toxic thought process alone has lifted a weight I carried for way too long!

so I hope you join me and other babes looking for a shift in their fitness, maybe scared to commit to big changes, but up for the challenge of small ones!

I’m just a girl…

so good I put it on the feed forever.
because dang if meal planning/ā€œhealthyā€ eating/ meal prepping doesn’t feel like this sometimes!

comparison is the thief of joy. And I feel like there is so much meal prepping content on their perfect cutting board, in their super clean kitchen, with the freshest ingredients.

and for them…THATS their livelihood so it makes sense
but for YOU. Nahhhh girl, real life does not look like that

it’s forgetting ingredients, using things that are about to go bad, cleaning yesterdays dishes to make room for today’s dishes.

stop comparing, and just start šŸ˜

Tension Headaches are ROUGH.

Woah. nothing like a some down and out pain to make ya empathize with my muscle pain folks 🄲

I’m sharing this post to show you some ways to get you out of a tension headache AND to share how it’s common to-

suffer through it.
ignore it. deal with it. blame it on genetics, whatever many many reasons we all come up with to not have to do THE WORK.

working through those exercise pointed out SO many areas that are stuck, frozen, tight, weak, and angry. and that ain’t nobody’s fault but mine.

my eyeball doesn’t feel like it wants to pop out of my head anymore and the headaches are gone but I’m also not trying to go back to where I was.
maintenance, mobility, and progressive strength to make sure my shoulders, neck, back, b***y, and crack are happy and healthy.

your probably isn’t the carb.
it’s your portion sizes, your macro balance, and if I had to guess

- a lack of fruits and veggies
-absence of planning leading to fast food
-oils and sauces not sticking to the serving size
-more snacking then you might be aware of

a good way to change a habit? Start with just ONE of these!
Make a trip to your produce section, grab some apples and put them RIGHT IN FRONT OF you on the counter.
