part 3 of rehab for my Achilles tendinitis with

I’ll try anything once (🤪) so when Dr. Cailin suggested dry needling I wasn’t gonna say no.

I really don’t have a problem with needles. I do apparently have a problem not being in control of my own body šŸ™ˆ

idk why that feels so stress inducing for me, but my hands were so sweaty lol. Once you get used to it though, it’s really not that bad!

so far my Achilles is responding really well to what we’re doing and I’m excited to show you parts of our next session.
got me out here with dumbbells and everythang 🤪

That’s what she said after I showed her and she saw how small it was!!

and if ya blink you might miss it! (We actually had to slow it down so she could see it 🤭)

but NOW when she does ANYTHING in her training (core, squats, deadlifts, wall balls, running) she has a better understanding of these micro movements and she can play with it!

rehab for my Achilles tendinitis ā¤ļø

even though I worked as a physical therapy aide for 5 years, I was fortunate enough to never have a serious injury that put me on the table as a patient!

and while my Achilles tendinitis isn’t a major injury, this time it definitely felt angrier. Like it was telling me ā€œgirl, if you’re trying to run on me long term, something has got to give…and it’s me..ā€

while injuries may feel like a setback, it’s an awesome opportunity to build a better foundation! So you can go stronger, longer!

sorry not sorry. I like to give as much as I receive but if im in a dope, focused, friendly, full gym environment.

I’m taking it all in and either putting it into my own workout or my clients workout.

this might sound like the complete opposite of what you normally hear.
and I think that might be a little bit of gym shyness talking šŸ™ˆ

I understand not always wanting to be seen at the gym
BUT there’s a real missed opportunity to be a part of the magic šŸŖ„ that is a bumpin gym.

you know I love my Anytime Fitness on Fort Apache, but I’m gonna tag a couple places I love a good workout envirnment , and I look forward to exploring more this year
