Fat Tuesday is the English translations of the French “Mardi Gras” and named after the ritual of gorging on fatty foods before Lent on Wednesday 🎭 These creole roots run deep so a celebration is a must. I’m celebrating by sacrificing something for 40 days and 40nights until Easter. The universe knows, so dig deep & release🧘🏽‍♀️

Indulge hard but remember what u remove in sacrafice will be returned in blessings. Let’s levitate higher y’all 💫✨

Don’t throw away your VDay Roses. Create‼️

🌹Rose water is created by distilling rose petals with steam. It’s used as a mild natural fragrance as an alternative to chemical-filled perfumes. Most popular option is using it as a moisturizer.

🌹Add petals to a large pot and top with enough distilled water to just cover ( or you’ll dilute your rosewater) over medium-low heat bring the water to a simmer and cover. Let simmer for 20-30 minutes or until petals have lost their color and are a pale pink. Add to a spray bottle and enjoy!!

🌹Mix six tablespoons of rose water with two tablespoons of coconut oil. Bottle it and use it as a regular moisturizer. You can use it once or twice a day. Get into it ladies!!
