Our “Skeleton Hands Cotton Swab Craft” is the perfect October activity to build fine motor skills, bilateral coordination, and visual-motor integration, all while having a blast. Grab some dark cardstock, chalk or crayon, cotton swabs, and glue and let’s get crafting!

🌟 Staff Spotlight: Meet Kim! 🌟

With over 30 years of experience, Kim is one of our amazing speech-language pathologists in Las Vegas! 🫶

Kim is a strong proponent of free play therapy, especially during evaluation, and says she is not a fan of standardized testing because it can limit what a child can truly do. She was trained to walk into a case without prior access to the chart, history, diagnosis, or background, focusing first on what she sees in front of her and assessing the deficits present, then reviewing the chart and history to fill in the blanks. She rarely follows a single program start-to-finish, instead adjusting her approach to what the child is or is not doing and employing a variety of strategies to meet each goal. 🙌

Say hello to Sue Ray, COTA/L — our energetic and passionate Occupational Therapy Assistant who brings creativity and fun to every session! ✨

Sue’s been part of the Tilton’s Therapy Team for seven years, and her journey is just as inspiring as her sessions. After years in hotel management (she even helped open iconic Vegas spots like NYNY, MGM, and Mandalay Bay!), she followed her heart into pediatric therapy and never looked back. 🧡

With over a decade of experience in home health and pediatrics, Sue’s philosophy is simple: don’t overthink it, enjoy it! She’s all about keeping therapy engaging, meaningful, and anything but boring.

➡️Proud mom of two college girls
➡️LOVES kickboxing!

Meet Racheal, one of our incredible Telehealth Speech Pathologists! 💻✨

Racheal believes therapy should always be child-centered by using games, interests, and passions to spark motivation. Her sessions are designed to be fun, rewarding, and engaging so children are excited to come back and eager to practice their skills at home. 💙

While she loves working across a variety of speech and language areas, Racheal’s greatest specialty is helping children with highly unintelligible speech patterns. She had the unique opportunity to train directly under Dr. Barbara Hodson, a renowned pioneer in phonology, gaining a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience at the Wichita State University phonology clinic. 🗣️📚

We are so grateful to have Racheal on our team who brings such passion, expertise, and heart into every session she leads. 💫
