What is Qigong?
Qigong is the art of human development, focusing on mental health, physical mobility, and overall well-being. It develops internal energy, particularly for enhancing health and vitality, promoting mental expansion, and fostering spiritual cultivation.
 
Qigong uses body movements, rhythmic breathing, visualizations, and healing sounds.

At first glance, slow-moving practices like taijiquan and qigong might seem easier than fast-paced exercise, but many practitioners quickly discover that they can be surprisingly demanding. The difficulty lies in the combination of physical control, structural alignment, and internal awareness required.

With deep gratitude, I honor the wisdom and teachings of the five great masters in this picture, who have guided my path in some influential way. Dashi, of course, was my root teacher for twenty years, teaching me Taoist, Buddhist, and Native American spiritual wisdom, self-protection, self-confidence, Qigong, Tai Chi, Dragon Dancing, and the art of the Spiritual Warrior.

The recent passing of Prof. Sigung Carl who was highly respected by and taught my teacher a wide variety of Taoist alchemy, Neigong, and Qigong, had me reviewing old texts and notes appreciating the knowledge and similarities and connections of my other lineages and the Medical Qigong college.

Share Lew Taoist Master and Yellow Dragon lineage holder. Marshall Ho (Yang Tai Chi Lineage), and Master Hsu Hong Chi (Xingyiquan). Besides the spiritual teachers like Lama Jingme, Kempo and others who taught at our school and temple like GM Dr. Kam Yuen was also inspiring as an amazing, energetic doctor after his martial arts career, Steven Tang, and George Xu. Their wisdom lives on in my practice, teaching, and prayers.

A beautiful moment…
After winning back-to-back Grand Champion titles in 2012 with four gold medals and 2013 with five golds, this award showed up at the school with my Jian sword form having the highest score across the ICMAC Tournament circuit.
It was a great moment, and I felt Dashi was truly proud, it wasn’t just for this. It was for everything else that I was doing like teaching and opening a wellness center. A run of 18X gold medals and five total championships the last one in 2021 being dedicated to my teacher.
