The American Lung Association in Nevada (ALAN) is calling on all Southern Nevada fire departments to rise to the challenge and join the fight against lung disease at Scale The STRAT, ALAN’s signature Fight For Air Climb event, taking place Sunday, February 22, 2026.

This year, for the first time, Scale The STRAT is introducing a special challenge for members of each department’s Explorer Program. The Explorer who reaches the top in the fastest time will be honored during the awards ceremony, earning well-deserved recognition for their dedication and determination. As we’ve done in prior years, we’ll also be recognizing the fastest fire fighter; let the games begin!

Now through the end of the year, all SNV fire fighters and Explorers can get $10 off their registration, please contact your PIO for the discount code.
