What an inspiring week for mental wellness in our community! We are so proud of our sister division for hosting such a meaningful and informative TMS event. The turnout, the engagement, and the genuine interest in advancing mental health care were truly uplifting.

At HeadsUp Guidance & Wellness Centers of Nevada, we are committed to supporting innovative, science-backed treatments—and TMS continues to be one of the most promising options for those struggling with treatment-resistant depression and other mental health conditions. Seeing the success of this event reminds us how important it is to keep offering education, resources, and hope.

If you’re interested in learning more about TMS, or want guidance on whether it may be right for you, we’re here to help. Our team can walk you through available treatments, answer questions, and connect you with the right division for your needs.

To stay informed about future events, new treatment offerings, and community wellness opportunities—including updates from both HeadsUp and the Department of Neuro-Hypnotic Sciences—be sure to follow our page and keep an eye out for upcoming announcements.

Your wellness journey matters. We’re here to walk with you every step of the way. 💙

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our TMS event last night! We had an incredible turnout and we are so grateful for each person who took the time to be there. The atmosphere was calm, cozy, and filled with genuine curiosity and connection.

We’re especially thankful for the thoughtful engagement from our attendees, with several choosing to move forward with a treatment package. Your trust means everything to us.

A heartfelt thank-you to Colleen, who is overjoyed by the success of her very first ExoMind event. Her dedication to bringing innovative mental health solutions to our community truly shines.

And a special thank-you to Sarah from BTL, whose knowledge, clarity, and warmth made the evening even more meaningful. We appreciate all you brought to the discussion.

Stay tuned for future events as we continue sharing advances and opportunities across the Department of Neuro-Hypnotic Sciences and all divisions within O’Callaghan Behavioral Health Services. We’ll be sharing information soon on how to stay connected and in the know about everything happening within our programs.

We’re grateful, inspired, and excited for what’s ahead. Thank you for helping us make this night one to remember. 💙

Happy Monday, everyone!
New week = new chances to take care of yourself in small, meaningful ways.

At our HeadsUp Guidance and Wellness Centers of Nevada, we’re all about starting the week with intention—whether that means setting one doable goal, taking a deep breath before you dive into your day, or giving yourself permission to take things one step at a time.

Tell us:
What’s one gentle thing you’re doing for yourself today?
A mindful moment? A stretch break? Listening to your favorite song on repeat?

Drop it in the comments—we love hearing how you’re taking care of you.

Depression During the Holidays — And How Hypnosis AND NEW ExoMind Technology Can Help You Find Your Way Back to Light

Not every holiday sparkles. For those living with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), this time of year can feel darker — marked by sadness, fatigue, or loss of interest.

You’re not alone.

ExoMind uses ExoTMS™ technology to stimulate key brain regions involved in mood regulation — helping restore balance and joy.Because even when the lights go out, there’s always a way to turn them back on.

For many people, the holidays are portrayed as a season of glittering joy — twinkling lights, festive gatherings, family coming together.

But for others, the same season can feel unbearably heavy.

The truth is, depression doesn’t take holidays off.

In fact, for some people, December and January are the hardest months of the year.

Maybe you’ve recently lost someone you love.
Maybe your family relationships are complicated.
Maybe the financial pressures, the social expectations, or the feeling of being “supposed to be happy” only intensify the ache inside your chest.

You are not broken.
You are not weak.
You are not alone.

Why the Holidays Can Trigger Depression

This time of year can stir up uncomfortable emotions because:

• Memories resurface — of people who are gone or times that felt easier.
• Social pressure builds — to smile, celebrate, and “be okay.”
• Financial stress increases — gift-giving and holiday events can take a toll.
• Weather shifts — shorter days and less sunlight can affect mood and energy.
• Comparison intensifies — social media can make everyone else look happy and fulfilled.

It’s easy to believe you’re the only one struggling, but you’re not. Many people silently battle sadness during a time when the world expects joy.

The Pain You’re Feeling Doesn’t Need to Be Your Forever

Depression can feel like quicksand — the harder you fight it, the deeper you sink.
So it’s important to approach healing differently: not with force, but with compassion, safety, and support.

This is where hypnosis becomes deeply powerful.

How Hypnosis and our New ExoMind Technology Helps Heal Depression — Especially During the Holidays

Hypnosis isn’t about pretending everything is fine.

It isn’t about ignoring emotions or forcing positivity.

Hypnosis is about quieting the noise long enough to truly hear yourself.
It helps you:

• Connect with the part of yourself that still remembers how to hope
• Interrupt negative emotional loops that fuel sadness
• Release old emotional patterns that no longer serve you
• Process grief and loneliness with gentleness instead of shame
• Build new inner resources — confidence, peace, resilience, self-worth

Hypnosis works by guiding you into a relaxed, safe state where your subconscious mind is more open to healing — a space where new beliefs can form and painful emotional associations can soften.

Instead of battling your mind, you learn to befriend it.

What Begins to Change

People often describe the shift this way:

“I feel like I can breathe again.”
“I don’t wake up with that heavy weight on my chest anymore.”
“I don’t feel so alone inside myself.”
Sometimes the change is gradual — a softening over time.
Sometimes it’s surprisingly fast — like a trapped part of you finally exhaling.

Steps You Can Take Right Now

Whether you’re working with a hypnotist or practicing self-hypnosis, here are simple steps to begin easing emotional weight today:

1. Pause for one full breath when emotions feel overwhelming.
It signals your nervous system that you are safe.
2. Speak to yourself the way you would speak to someone you love.
No judgment. No shame.
3. Remember one thing that anchors you.
A person, a memory, a goal, a dream — anything that reminds you life is bigger than this moment.
4. Rest when you need it.
Overwhelm is not laziness — it’s a signal that your system needs gentleness.
5. Allow yourself to receive support.

Healing isn’t meant to be done alone.

You Are Not Failing — You Are Healing

If the holidays feel hard this year, there is nothing wrong with you.
Your emotions are not inconveniences — they are messages.

You deserve peace.
You deserve connection.
You deserve to feel safe in your own mind again.
Hypnosis doesn’t erase the past — it helps you rewrite the emotional meaning of it.

It helps you build a new relationship with yourself — one rooted in compassion, worthiness, and inner strength.

So if this season feels dark, please remember:

You are not meant to walk through darkness alone.

There is light available to you — and hypnosis and ExoMind can help you find your way back to it.

Call us today. Sometimes you just need to talk.

With Love,
Colleen

Depression can get worse during menopause* — yet most women aren’t screened for it.It’s not weakness. It’s hormonal change affecting brain balance.

Exomind helps restore calm and emotional strength through advanced ExoTMS™ technology — a non-invasive treatment targeting the brain’s mood networks.

Because the change doesn’t define you — balance does. 💙

Today, we pause with deep gratitude for the brave men and women who have worn our nation’s uniform. Veterans Day is not just a date on the calendar — it’s a reminder of the courage, sacrifice, and strength that protect the freedoms we often take for granted.

At HeadsUp, we recognize that the battles don’t always end when service does. Our Veterans Program is dedicated to supporting the heroes who have given so much — helping them heal, find peace, and thrive beyond their years of duty.

To every veteran:
Your service matters. Your story matters. You matter.
Thank you for your courage, your sacrifice, and your unwavering love of country.

With respect, honor, and gratitude — today and every day.

Antidepressants? Anti-anxiety meds? ADHD medication?
Let’s stop the stigma and start the conversation. 💬

🧠 Mental health medications don’t change who you are — they help you feel more like yourself.
Just like a cozy sweater brings comfort when the air turns crisp, the right treatment can bring warmth and balance back into your life. 🍁

At HeadsUp, we believe in personalized care — medication is never one-size-fits-all, and you’re always part of the decision-making process. 💊

Your mental health deserves the same care as your physical health. ❤️
