First time running this routine today… and it was so much fun.

There’s always that moment when something new clicks -
the music, the movement, the energy in the room.

This one had it.

Can’t wait to try it again. There’s always a nuance to learn and master. 💃

Some days you feel a little off.
A little scattered at the start.

Maybe today felt like that for you.

It did for me too.

But I stayed with it.

And that’s what matters.

Because it’s not the perfect workouts that make the biggest difference —
it’s the ones you show up for anyway.

A few minutes of movement.
A simple start.
Just getting going.

That’s how momentum is built.

it still counts.

Today was what I call a recovery workout.

Not pushing hard.
Not trying to “get more in.”

Just giving my body a chance to recover between harder training days — while still moving.

It’s easy to think every workout has to be intense to count.
It doesn’t.

This is how I stay consistent.
This is how I keep my body feeling good.

And honestly… it’s just as important as the harder days.
I didn’t always see it this way.

Years ago, I didn’t give workouts like this much credit.
I recovered, of course - but I didn’t think about it as part of the plan.

Now I do.

And it’s made all the difference.

There’s something about the right song, the right energy, and a room full of people just moving together.

No pressure.
No perfection.
Just showing up and having fun.

Showing up consistently isn’t always exciting.

Sometimes it feels like effort with no reward.
Like you’re doing everything you’re supposed to… and not seeing it yet.

That doesn’t mean it’s not working.

It means you’re in the part most people quit.

Stay there.

This part matters more than you think.

That’s where things start to change. 💛

This is one of my favorite ways to train cardio.

Rhythm.
Coordination.
A little bit of challenge.

Not just going through the motions—
but actually staying engaged the whole time.

And yes… it makes the workout go by a lot faster.

Find something that challenges you
and makes you want to keep coming back. 💛

This was our first working block after the warm-up.

Strength.
Cardio.
A push to take it up a notch.

This is the kind of work we practice.

Paying attention.
Staying controlled.
Adjusting intensity based on where you are in the workout.

Not just moving…
but being present in what you’re doing.

That’s what builds real strength.

If you’re training at home, take this with you:

Slow it down enough to feel it.
Pay attention to your effort.
Meet yourself where you are today.

That’s where progress happens. 💛
