ATTENTION!!!
Grand Teton knows that times are tough. We as a business, and more so as people, want to do what we can to help. We understand that Thanksgiving is around the corner, and with the cancellation of SNAP and WIC benefits in our state, these times are even more uncertain. That is why for almost the ENTIRE month of November, Grand Teton will be hosting their first annual food drive and will be donating all proceeds. Please stop by our hospital any time between 8am and 6pm to donate. We will be accepting canned, non-perishable, and even baby/toddler items. Unsure what to donate? Please message us or call us! Your donation helps so much more than you know.

We are pleased to announce we are officially having our very first ever Halloween Costume Contest!! Submissions are open until October 27th, with the prize being a pet boo basket. One winner for both dogs and cats (2 winners total, one for each breed) will be announced at 7pm PST on October 31st! Have fun and stay spooky, our team can't wait to see your pets' paw-some costumes! 🎃🕷🕸🐾🦇

It is officially Halloween season!! 🦇🎃🕷
With the festivities underway and all things spooky going on, we would like everyone to remember to please keep your black cats safe! Not everyone is kind to black cats, with physical harm and abuse rates skyrocketing around this time of year, every single year.
Black cats are not dangerous.
Black cats are not mean.
Black cats are NOT "bad omens".
Black cats are just cats. Cats that are just trying to live and survive, and cats that are being punished just for existing.
How black cats are portrayed in mainstream media is NOT how black cats are in real life. Black cats are fun, kind, cuddly, curious, and adventurous. They are sweet, and incredible animals.
They are not here to hurt you. Please, do not hurt them.

Heres what we do - no sponsored ads, just real cases and real life!

A personal (and not particularly desired) record for me this weekend.

This adorable little cutie presented with sudden onset vaginal discharge. When i saw her pop up on the scheduler and seeing as though she’s a puppy, I was thinking she probably had ‘puppy vaginitis’! However, some things didn’t quite add up. She’d already had a heat cycle and was vomiting, occasionally.

By performing in-house testing we were quickly able to diagose the reason and get her treated

To cut a long story short, at only 10 months old, she now has the unfortunate title of my youngest ever patient diagnosed with a pyometra.

Her owners did a great job of realizing there was a problem and getting her in to see us, ASAP. This meant she was stable and an emergency ovariohysterectomy was able to be successfully performed! ❤️

Thank you to all our clients who trust us with caring for your pets. The trust you place is us is a huge compliment and not taken for granted.

The patient you are seeing was presented to us a few weeks ago fora mass removal. Upon meeting with the client, we discovered this was no ordinary mass.

This sweet baby lived with this mass for YEARS due to being told that it was inoperable. The owner searched for multiple different options and thought the mass was just there to stay, until she found us. With extensive communication between the client and Dr. Cooper and a few closer exams, we decided we were going to do the "impossible" and remove it.

Not only was this patient a complete ROCKSTAR under anesthesia, but they are now successfully MASS FREE!!! They are now recovering at home with their owner, and they are thriving. This patient is living proof that even the impossible is, in fact, possible. ✨✨❤️❤️

✨ Protecting Your Pet’s Smile! ✨

This pup had a small enamel defect on a canine tooth, likely from a baby tooth (deciduous canine) that hung around too long. Left untreated, defects like this can trap bacteria, wear down faster, or even become painful.
