Born with Spina Bifida-Myelomeningocele she was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic bladder cancer. After losing her bladder in a grueling 8.5hr surgery, she endured targeted chemotherapy and immunotherapy. Today, at 45, she's grateful to have no evidence of cancer, even as she navigates ongoing treatment side effects. If she wins the $40,000, she will amplify awareness for Spina Bifida and Bladder Cancer, and seize the chance to rebuild & finish her 40's with renewed strength and purpose!
