We hope this finds you and your family well. It goes without saying that our community has been through a lot over these last weeks. All of us are looking forward to picking up where life left off, though with some changes in our habits and routines. One thing remains the same; our commitment to your safety and oral health.
Infection control has always been a top priority in our office. We want to tell you about a few changes we are making for the time-being, based on recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the CDC and OSHA. For example:
β’ Appointments will be managed to allow for reasonable social distancing between patients. This will mean fewer options for scheduling your appointment.
β’ Our office will communicate with you when confirming your appointment to ask some basic screening questions. You will be asked the same questions again when you arrive at the office.
β’ For the time-being, we ask that you call us when you arrive in the parking lot and we will notify you when it is your turn to enter the building.
β’ We will have very limited seating in our waiting room. As well, we will no longer offer magazines since these are difficult to disinfect.
β’ We will do our best to minimize your check-out time to reduce the number of patients in that area. We will have hand sanitizer available, disposable pens for you to use and we will wipe down the counters after each interaction.
We do look forward to seeing you again! We are here for you and happy to answer any questions you may have. Thank you for being our patient and for being patient!. We sincerely value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming you back in the weeks ahead as we prepare for re-opening.
Warmly,
Dr. John Binkley, Dr. Haresh Modha and our wonderful team of hygienists and staff
