Outpatient Counseling: We provide individual and family counseling to children, adolescents, and adults. CARS Program: Provides homebased counseling to delinquent juveniles and their families. Community Intervention Center: Provides intake, assessment services, and supervision to juveniles arrested by law enforcement officers. We contract w/ DHS to complete homestudies on prospective foster and adoptive homes. Parenting, Anger Management, & Money Management Classes: Group classes that address parenting, anger, or money management issues. First Time Offender Program: Involves juveniles and their parents in skill development classes which focus on communication, socialization skills, anger management, problem solving, and decision-making skills. Emergency Youth Shelter: Provides supervised care 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. New Directions Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Shelter: Provides a safe haven for women , men , and their children who are escaping the trauma of domestic violence or sexual assault. New Directions is funded by the Office of Attorney General. Parker Pointe Girls' Group Home: Provides long-term care of girls who are victims of abuse and neglect and are in the state's custody.
