Today was my one year appointment from being cancer free. The appointment went well. I had a dizzy spell and was nauseated last night and had a headache afterwards. I talked to him about it. He said it could be my adrenal glands are flared up and that is what is causing it. I just need to keep a close eye on it he said. He said to rest today and tomorrow I should be better. September I will have a mammogram done and see him again to get results 🤞🏽🙏🏽 it comes back good. My parents got me this for my birthday so I just thought it fit perfectly for today’s news

Time for my yearly checkup. This machine is kicking my b***y this morning. Omg it hurts worst now then it has before. Ladies a reminder to get your Tatas checked. I know it’s uncomfortable but just do it. Hope everyone has a blessed day.

Wow today is my last immunotherapy. It’s been a journey for sure. Last year at this time was my first chemo treatment and now today is my last immunotherapy treatment! So freaking excited! I am slowly getting back to normal. Slowly getting back my health that cancer tried to take but I said O heck no! Thank you all for the prayers we really do appreciate them. I never knew how big of a support system I had until you all started showing me. You guys know how to make a girl feel special lol. Love you all and appreciate you all. 💪🏽

A year ago today I got the call that changed my life. So many questions I had so many emotions! But once I let it all out I got myself together and said I was not going to let Cancer beat me that I was going to beat it! And here I am cancer free for 6 months now. Life is crazy, life is short so hold on and enjoy life. Let Go and Let God control it all. Cancer sucks. My wish is that everyone continues to pray for those that lost their battle and pray for those that continue to fight the battle. Love you all and thank you all for the continued support and prayers. 😘

Update on my journey…so far things are going well. I have one more treatment in July for Immunotherapy. Hair is growing in as you can tell in the picture. I’ve been released to exercise but nothing strenuous. So I’ve been walking since March. Praying my numbers are good with my thyroid. Still waiting on taking medication to see how my numbers do. Hopefully I won’t need to take it but if I do then I will. I lost a hero of mine 3 weeks ago. I miss her everyday and today she would of texted me to see how my appointments went. She always put others first even when she was not feeling well herself. She lost her battle with cancer but she didn’t stop fighting. Even when she knew it was her time she still fought. I love you Erika Serna! I know you are watching over me today and everyday.
