This is an interesting read... I am always told I have very low vitamin D levels.

By John McDougall, MD Examining a patient’s blood for vitamin D levels has become common practice, with many millions of tests performed annually in the US. Based on the current standards of normal—30 ng/mL or greater—between 50 and 90 percent of adults and children are considered deficient in...

If you want to limit your chances of getting sick, practice good hygiene including wash your hands frequently, eat a healthy plant based diet free of processed foods and added sugar, get plenty of sleep, and try to manage your stress.

When so much of the crisis is outside our control, it’s essential to focus on what we can control, which is much more than washing our hands.

It's very important to surround yourself with people you aspire to be like and raise you up, not bring you down. The same goes for the shows you watch on television.

The Girls I Wasn't Allowed to Date

I remember some girls in my youth (who I was chasing as love interests) and those young ladies were from very rich families. The parents of the girls heavily discouraged them from considering me as "date potential" because I was poor, unrefined and unmotivated. I was more than a little angry and held it against those parents until I started to study psychology later in life. It's proven that the mind copies what it sees and can even focus in on the vibration of the people around them, picking up subtle cues, pheromones and cellular frequencies...to copy, mimic and emulate. That's why females living in a sorority have their menstrual cycles sync up. The body copies the invisible frequencies as well, not just the seen behaviors. That means if you are around better people, they bring you up.....but you also bring them down a bit. Sort of like an odd cosmic law of averages.

To make a long psychological story short......those ladies could have literally caught my "poorness" or at least watered down their success potential, just for being around me. I wasn't at their level and their parents knew how this all worked. I would only bring them down a notch. The parents wanted mates who would help their daughters become more. That was a big wake up call for me. Dr. Jerry Kroth (professor of psychology) at Santa Clara University, explains how intensely humans copy what they see. The point is......if you want to be better, hang around better people or at least pump successful people into your brain through the internet. (hard wired internet is safer of course).

This is a second video on the psychology of propaganda and to date has been viewed by over 275, 000 people. Prof. Kroth reviews five major techniques for how...

Love this! Where are you going to find your tribe? Not just a group of people to hang out with but the group of people who will help you grow and accomplish your goals.

Working on your relationships allows you to grow while also extending that opportunity to someone else, plus it’s a vital part of health and longevity.

We know now, that those with strong social connections benefit mentally, emotionally, and physically—with decreased all-cause mortality compared to those who are socially isolated.

And while happy relationships benefit us in many ways, troubled relationships might create stress and anxiety, which can manifest in a variety of unseemingly connected ways, such as headaches, sleep issues, upset digestion, and more.

If you feel like you're lacking community, you can't keep looking in the same places. For example, if being outdoors is important to you, try joining a hiking meetup.

It might seem intimidating to branch out, but it can do wonders for your health, attitude, and mindset. Even if you’re not lonely, think about what you can do to work on the relationships you have and help others who might be feeling isolated.

A good article on the benefits of adding more plant protein to your diet and reducing animal protein.

Thanks to popular wisdom, we tend to consider animal protein our dietary MVP – it’s associated with building muscle, and high-animal protein weight loss diets are still popular. In contrast, plant protein from vegetables, legumes, nuts and seeds is considered a “second string” source. But as...
