🕯️ Samhain: Remembering, Releasing, and Celebrating the Mystery
As autumn deepens and the air cools, we arrive at one of the most ancient and sacred times of the year — Samhain (pronounced SOW-in).
Long before Halloween, the Celts celebrated Samhain as the final harvest — the threshold between seasons when the light waned, the fields grew quiet, and the veil between worlds grew thin. It was a time to gather by the fire, share stories of the ancestors, and give thanks for all that had come to pass.
Samhain invites us to pause — to honor endings, release what no longer serves, and make space for what wishes to be born in the dark. It reminds us that death and rebirth are not opposites, but partners in the great turning of life.
This weekend, I’m hosting two gatherings that honor these ancient traditions in a modern, heartfelt way:
⸻
🔥 Samhain: Remember & Release (In-Person Celebration with Elizabeth & Angi)
Saturday, Nov 1 • 6–10 PM • Cedar Park, TX
We’ll gather by the fire for an evening of remembrance and celebration — honoring our ancestors, sharing soup and cider, and weaving ritual into community connection.
Our night will include:
🪶 Ancestor Altar & Honoring Ceremony
🎭 Dressing in Samhain Tradition (optional costumes)
🔥 Fire Blessing & Release Ritual
✨ Sacred Samhain Spell: Transforming Fear into Empowerment
🔔 Sound Bath & ♨️ Hot Tub Hangout
This gathering is offered as a gift to the community, with donations welcome.
⸻
🌒 Samhain: Remember & Release (Online Circle)
Sunday, Nov 2 • 6:30–8:00 PM CST • via Zoom
A gentle virtual gathering to honor your ancestors from home.
We’ll share in ancestral healing, a Silent Ancestor Supper & Remembrance Circle, reflection, and Samhain storytime.✨
⸻
Whether by the fire or across the screen, may this Samhain remind us of the threads that connect us — to each other, to the earth, and to those who came before.

Remember. Release. Celebrate.
