Team members of the Crawford County Recycling Center have started a craft program with our residents each month. This month they made pumpkins from the bottoms of soft drink bottles. The residents loved them, and we can't wait to see what next month's craft will be.

Congratulations Jessica Seibert, LPN/Preceptor, our Quest for Excellence winner for 2025! We are looking forward to honoring this year's outstanding Quest Winners at the banquet on November 13 at the Marriott in Indianapolis.

Jessica has worked on and off at Todd-Dickey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for 26 years, first starting right out of high school in housekeeping, then as a CNA, and was eventually promoted to restorative care, during which time she attended nursing school.

Jessica models her career following ASC’s core values of Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence. She’s
dedicated, always advocates for others, and is deeply compassionate. One coworker said, “I have personally witnessed Jessica’s high level of expertise, and she always provides the comfort our residents need most.” And Jessica never shies away from difficult tasks.

ED Wendy Broughton shared, “Jessica is a preceptor and does an amazing job teaching and guiding new employees to success. She takes them under her wing while still getting the job done. If I have a question or concern, I can rely on Jessica for a direct and honest response. Jessica is a true asset to Todd Dickey and our residents love her.”

Jessica has been married for 26 years has two daughters. Kenzie is 21 and currently in college to be a teacher at University of Southern Indiana. Kyla is 19 and is a licensed cosmetologist and lash artist. She is a proud dog mom of 2 French Bulldogs, Jag and Espyn. Jessica enjoys concerts and music and eventually plans to move to the beach to spend retirement as a beach bum!

Until then, we’re lucky to have Jessica at Todd-Dickey and congratulate her on this very well-deserved recognition.

We want to recognize our Quest for Excellence winner for this year, Jessica Seibert, LPN. She is a real team player and if she isn't doing her nurse duties you can find her out on the floor doing direct care for residents, making beds, etc. she goes above and beyond every day. Jessica will be going to Indianapolis next week to join winners from all over the state in a celebration🥳🎉 to honor their accomplishment. Congratulations Jessica!! 👏🏆

We continued the fun festivities today with a costume contest and our annual Chili Cook-Off!

As you can see in the pictures, we had many cute and wild costumes. The winners shown in the first picture are:

We had our Annual Trick or Treat last evening and it was a huge hit, with so many great costumes and treats for our community kiddos. Thanks to all the parents/grandparents who brought their goblins.

We had a SPOOK-tacular surprise when some friendly ghosts' 👻dropped by to see what we were planning for our Trick or Treat for the community kids Thursday night. They stayed painting pumpkins and played some bingo games.👻

Yesterday, the residents enjoyed a visit and music presentation by Otis Berry aka "Elvis" and his associate. The residents always have such a good time when they come in.
