Liz Levy, RN, BSN, IBCLC | Lactation Consultant - Kansas City Metro Area
Helping families who want confidence, calm & consistent support in their feeding journey. Breastfeeding is a natural process but it is also a learning experience for both mom and baby. Studies have shown that mothers are more successful with breastfeeding if they have professional support from a certified lactation consultant. I am a Registered Nurse (RN), a Certified Breastfeeding Educator (CBE) and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). I have always been passionate about breastfeeding and believe that every family deserves the right to give their baby the best start in life. Each family is different and I pride myself on being able to tailor my services to what works best for your life. I offer private prenatal breastfeeding classes as well as in-home breastfeeding consultations. I look forward to working with you and your family! Specialties:

😖 You tense up before every feeding time because you’re expecting pain, frustration, or another round of “why is this still so hard?” You’re already counting down until it’s over and then the guilt hits right after. This is NOT what you pictured when you imagined feeding your baby.

😊 Now picture feeding without clenching your jaw, curling your toes, or feeling that sense of dread. Your shoulders drop. Your baby settles faster. You start trusting your body again. Feeding becomes a moment of connection instead of something you survive.

💕 You don’t need to push through this alone. Comment HELP for more info.

Great news for families with extra milk to donate! This makes it so easy!

We’re proud to share that the Johnson County Department of Health and Environment is now an official human milk donation drop-off site in partnership with the Oklahoma Mothers' Milk Bank and the Kansas Breastfeeding Coalition Inc.

Donated human milk can be lifesaving for premature and medically fragile babies. All milk donated at our site undergoes careful screening and pasteurization, then is distributed back to hospitals in our region—helping local infants who need it most. Learn more about becoming a donor: okmilkbank.org

📍 Drop-off location: Olathe Health Services Building, 11875 S. Sunset Dr. Olathe, KS

Hospital-based lactation support and outpatient lactation care serve different roles - and both are important!

Hospital IBCLCs support families during the immediate postpartum period, while ongoing lactation care outside of the hospital supports families as feeding evolves, challenges emerge, and babies grow.

Most families benefit from both. My role is to provide continued, individualized feeding support beyond the hospital stay, with close follow-up and care tailored to each family’s individual goals.

I truly love working alongside other providers to support families during the postpartum period. Feeding challenges are often complex and families benefit most when care is collaborative and connected.

💞 To the providers I am so grateful to work alongside: To make referrals easier, I wanted to share a quick overview of the types of families who tend to be the best fit for each level of lactation support I offer.

My goal is always to complement the care you’re already providing, with thoughtful assessments, close follow-up, and open communication.

I’m always happy to connect or answer any questions - feel free to DM me anytime. Thank you for continuing to trust me with your clients! 🩷

🤱🏽 When feeding your baby is difficult, it can feel all-consuming. Each feeding brings questions, stress, and the constant worrying if things are improving or getting worse.

Many feeding challenges require more than a single visit. Babies change quickly, and real progress often comes from close follow-up, reassurance, and small adjustments over time.

👶🏽 The Cuddle Package is designed for families who need support during these tough moments. It offers four weeks of focused, ongoing care so feeding challenges can be addressed thoughtfully, with guidance as things evolve.

💗 If feeding your baby is difficult right now or things just don’t seem quite right, you deserve steady, responsive support. Get more details or schedule a FREE discovery call with me today at the link in my bio.

😵‍💫 If you’ve had a baby before who struggled with feeding, you likely remember how heavy that season felt. Knowing something wasn’t right, trying suggestion after suggestion, and never quite getting clear answers about why things were hard.

Many parents I work with aren’t look for more tips. They’re looking for someone who can identify what’s actually going on and help address it thoughtfully, from the beginning, with consistent care over time.

💖 That’s why I now offer ongoing concierge support packages. Feeding challenges often don’t resolve in a single visit - they evolve over time. Real progress requires follow up, adjustment, and a provider who truly knows your baby and your goals.

✅ For families who want to plan ahead, the Embrace package includes a prenatal visit plus 12 weeks of postpartum support. For families who prefer to start after birth, the Snuggle package offers 8 weeks of consistent postpartum care.

If feeding was hard before and you want a different experience this time, you don’t have to do it alone. For more details or to book a FREE call with me, check out the 🔗 in my bio.

First-time parenthood comes with a lot of unknowns, especially when it comes to breastfeeding.

🤱 The Embrace Package was created for families who want support that starts before baby arrives and continues through the early postpartum months, when questions, changes, and adjustments are constant.

By working with fewer families at a time, I am able to offer more personalized, ongoing care and truly get to know each family and their goals.

This is about planning ahead, steady guidance, early support, and care that evolves as your baby grows.

💕 If you’re expecting your first baby and looking for care that feels thoughtful, responsive, and personal, you can learn more about the Embrace Package or book a FREE call with me through the link in my bio.

✨ This change has been a long time coming, and I’m so excited to finally share it with you. ✨

One of the things I value most about being a lactation consultant is really getting to know the families I work with and supporting them through the everyday moments, not just crisis-based appointments.

By shifting to a concierge model, I’m able to offer more personalized, ongoing care and work more closely with families as they move toward their feeding goals.

This season of life is full of change and families deserve care that is thoughtful, responsive, and intentional.

I’m really proud of this shift and excited to share more about how I’ll be supporting families in this way moving forward.

A little behind-the-scenes honesty: Over the past year, I’ve been asking myself hard questions about the kind of care I want to offer.

Not more visits.
Not more volume.
But better continuity, deeper support, and a more peaceful presence for the families I work with.

The answers have been nudging me toward something different.

I’m not quite ready to share all the details yet… but change is coming 😊
