Do you fall asleep easily, but wake up often? Try using a mantra to keep your thoughts from spinning you into complete wakefulness. Choose a soothing phrase. Clear your mind. Repeat this phrase while deep breathing before bed. You may need to practice your mantra a few minutes each day for a couple of weeks before this method becomes effective. The more you practice, the more automatic it becomes to begin your mantra within seconds of waking. Do you always feel too tired to exercise? It’s okay to choose rest when you need it, but if chronic fatigue is causing you to miss out on all the benefits of enjoyable movement, it’s good to know that small bursts of exercise can actually improve your energy levels. Exercise is one of the most important treatments for fatigue. A little exercise pushes oxygen into all of your cells which gives you a burst of energy. Sounds counterintutive but studies show the best treatment for chronic fatigue is movement!
