If you all know me, you know I greatly dislike the idea of "fat burners." They don't exist and it's an improper term for this category of supplements. BUT thermogenics do exist. And out of all of them, Burn2O has the four that I like the most.
Let's look at .lion Burn2O.
L-Carnitine: Not very bioavailabile, so you need to take quite a bit. At least 3-4g. Acetyl L-Carnitine is the best orally, but free-form is fine here. Carnitine aids in energy production by transporting long-chain fatty acids into the mitochondria to be burned for fuel.
MitoBurn®: a branded, patented form of L-BAIBA, a e) designed to boost metabolism and increase calorie burning through thermogenesis.
CaloriBurn GP®: a branded supplement ingredient derived from Aframomum Melegueta (Grains of Paradise) designed to boost metabolism and increase calorie burning through thermogenesis. It works by stimulating brown adipose tissue, which converts stored fat into energy.
MY EXPERIENCE: I took 2 servings, which resulted in 4g L-Carnitine, 1g MitoBurn®, 50mg GBB, and 20mg CaloriBurn GP®. You can feel the "burn" and thermo effect fairly quickly. I love that there is no caffeine. I tend to not like stimulation (caffeine) with thermogenics. For me it's an uncomfortable feeling. In the most professional way possible- s**t works. Start with 1 serving 😅
WHEN TO TAKE: I would say the best time to use this is in the AM or before a cardio session. Personally, I wouldn't waste this on a resistance training session (that's just my opinion though). I would definitely use this before a run, bike, or walking the dogs. I use MitoBurn before training quite often, because it doesn't cause any thermo effect. But GBB and CaloriBurn WILL make you sweat 💦
Out of all the liquid carnitine products out there, Alpha Lion does it the best. Big fan!
