If you ask me the food pyramid should be a food CIRCLE filled with meats, fruits, vegetables, dairy, eggs, nuts, seeds, and legumes. You know, all the real food. There is no tier. There's many ways to get nutrients. Here at Elyxr we preach variety. Each food is special and contains its own nutrient profile. Get a little bit of everything.

Today I got into an argument where someone argued that 100 MILLIGRAMS of a FRUIT EXTRACT (with no fruit sugar or calories) was worse for a diabetic than the entire breading of a Chic-fil-a sandwich. These people exist and they are incredibly confident in being wrong.

It's not an argument of opinions. It's right vs wrong. Everything I argue is rooted in truth, science, numbers, and common sense.

I've been playing around (again) with fonts and colors. Any feedback on the gothic font? I want the design to match with the word "elyxr" and give it a potion/elixir vibe. But I also don't want it to appear creepy or something that would frighten my grandmother.

The absolute only thing that matters when it comes to supplements is the label. The formula. The nutrients.

What's in it?
What are the active ingredients?
What are the doses?
Is there synergism between ingredients?

That's it. If an influencer, doctor, dietician, brand owner, your cousin, anyone, says anything otherwise, ignore them. The ONLY REASON you take a supplement is for the active ingredients. Remove the active ingredients and it's completely worthless.

What are you taking?
What is the function of each ingredient?
What's the dose?
Why are you taking it?
When do you take it?
What effects (if any) should you notice?
If you don't take what happens?

This might seem kind of dumb, but many consumers don't know much about the supplements they take. These are questions you should know the answer to before investing in supplements. No one wants to waste their money.
