I hear people ask all the time "how do I boost my metabolism" or "what can I take to boost my metabolism?"
The only correct answer is: MUSCLE
I pick on women a lot and I'm going to again. 90% of the time they are the ones asking this question. Women naturally have less muscle and more fat than men, but this doesn't mean they can't work around that. And the same goes for men.
Regular, resistance exercise is the first and main solution. If you aren't doing this then you can forget it. If you think you can do this without working out, forget it. You have to get the mindset that resistance exercise is one of, if not the, single best thing you can do for your body.
Don't have time? YES YOU DO.
Don't like it? THEN STOP ASKING ME FOR HELP.
Don't want to get bulky? YOU WON'T.
Don't know how to workout? FIND A TRAINER.
Too old to workout? NO YOU'RE NOT.
You have an injury? WHAT A GREAT EXCUSE. BUT YOU HAVE OTHER MUSCLES.
Go workout. Eat whole foods. Take the right supplements. Sleep well. Stress less.
