Iron & Ivy Creations Welcome! I create laser cut and engraved decor for home, children and custom orders too! For as long as I can remember, I have always love to create!

Ever since my kids were little, crafting was my therapy! Even though my kids are grown, I am so blessed to be Nana to three grandchildren! I currently reside in a small farm town of Leland with my husband, son, three dogs, and three cats! I work from home and keep busy building inventory for markets and making custom orders as well! How did Iron & Ivy come to be? My kids have always pushed me to start n online shop for years. My daughter introduced me to the laser world in 2019 and here we are! Starting a business is hard, expensive and really stressful! But it has also been fun, challenging, and so rewarding! Not only that but we had a hard time coming up with a name for our business! Not many people know that my husband has been in the wedding industry from the 1990's-2015 doing wedding videography. We had a dream of wanting to start our own wedding venue. After searching and finding a place we thought would be ideal, we went to work exploring all the aspects of it and as far as getting a general contractor to go over plans. Long story short, it didn't work out how we wanted which was a blessing in disguise. The pandemic hit the following year so it worked out for the best! After scouring name ideas my daughter asked about the venue name, (Iron & Ivy) we had chosen. We had loved the name so instead of scrapping it, we used it for our business! And that's how Iron & Ivy Creations came about!

Yesterday was the Celebration of Life for my nephew, Greysan. It was such a tribute to his life in the most wonderful ways. My sister did beautiful displays of love and captured every aspect of his life. We will continue to spread awareness and prevention around su***de. Here are some of the ways in which we honered Grey.

Hoping this year brings a renewed spirit, hope, peace and love to you and your family!

As the new years starts, I am working on new inventory. I am updating my Etsy shop with current attachment inventory. I will leave link below.

PSA: SU***DE AWARENESS POST

As Christmas closes in on us, I wanted to share a few things with you.

As many of you know, and have felt yourself, this year has been hard! I had felt like quitting more times than I can count. This business can be hard and sometimes finding the motivation to continue is even harder. I know I haven’t done as many markets this year and been more present on socials. I just needed a break. And I appreciate you for your understanding and patience!

The holidays are about family, and being together, presents, lights, Christmas trees, making cookies, etc. And I hope that all of you that celebrate this season, cherish it all! Every moment! Because we never know when it will be someone’s last Christmas.

Earlier this month our family suffered two losses to su***de. I know this can be a heavy topic, but it is one that needs to be talked about more. So that’s why I’m sharing.

My nephew, Greysan, was 27 and took his own life on December 4th.

My niece, Ki-Lee just turned 29 and took her life on December 11th.

One week apart. Two devastating losses. Two kids who had their whole life ahead of them. Two people whom we love so much and would’ve done anything to keep them here.

If someone you know if hurting, or needs help, please reach out. Talk to someone. There are so many resources available. But sometimes, it’s not enough. Mental health isn’t a stigma. Su***de isn’t taboo to talk about.

Please be kind! This Christmas, hold your loved ones tighter, tell them you love them, and have empathy towards others. 🎄💔 😇 😇
