Urso Memorial Fund was created to honor the memory of local business and family man, my father, Tom Urso. My dad was diagnosed with cancer in 2001 and lost his battle on March 31, 2004. With the help of his wife Marie, he opened and successfully developed the trucking company Bear Cartage & Intermodal. After his passing, I became President of Bear Cartage & Intermodal and have continued to run the business. With the help of our family and friends, we created the Memorial Fund in conjunction with a golf outing to celebrate Tom’s memory and to benefit Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation. This prominent Chicago-based charity sees to the needs of children who are battling cancer every day. My dad would be honored and proud to know his golf outing and memorial fund benefits these children and their families. Urso Memorial Golf Outing will be held Saturday, October 2nd at Tuckaway Golf Club in Crete, IL. A silent auction will be held during cocktails and dinner and we are hoping your organization can help us with a donation. We would greatly appreciate anything you can provide for this worthwhile cause. 10TH ANNUAL OUTING INFORMATION IS OUT AND REGISTRATION IS OPEN!!!

The 10th Annual Thomas C. Urso Memorial Golf Outing will be held on October 21st , 2017 at Ruffled Feathers Golf Club in Lemont, IL with a 9:00 am shotgun start. For the price of $150 for an individual golfer or $460 for a foursome, you will receive 18 holes of golf, lunch, drinks on the course and dinner. Plus, we will once again have our famous sausage hole with our cousin’s homemade beer. Hopefully, everyone is able to make it and we will be able to fill the golf course with 144 golfers.
