✨ Birthday Reflections ✨

Today, as I celebrate another turn around the sun, I pause to give deep gratitude to those who came before me — my ancestors, whose love, strength, and sacrifices made my life possible. 💜

Each year for my birthday, I honor them in one of my favorite ways — by cooking a special dinner and setting a place for them at the table. As I prepare the meal, I speak their names, share my gratitude, and invite their presence into the space. It’s my way of remembering that I never walk alone — their wisdom, resilience, and light continue to guide my journey.

Ancestor veneration isn’t about mourning the past; it’s about celebrating the living legacy within me. I honor their hands in my work, their prayers in my purpose, and their spirit in my joy.

May this new year of life be another opportunity to grow, give thanks, and keep their light shining through all that I do. ✨🕯️🍲
