Rooted In Grace Childbirth Education Tiffany and Meghan are both certified doulas and certified childbirth educators offering hands on classes in Lexington, SC

I am a holistic minded momma of two who keep me on my toes. I am married to a great guy who is full of character and life. I love to spend time with my family, laugh and be outdoors. Ever since I was little, I always wanted to be that nurse that took care of babies. After having a rough experience with a hospital birth for my first baby, I decided to do a homebirth with my second child. This was by far the best birthing experience and changed my mind set on what I wanted to do with my career. Aside from high risk and medical emergencies, my outlook on birth is that it's a natural process and we need to allow woman to listen to their bodies and have the freedom to birth how they want too. My job as your doula is to be there for the mother and partner through this amazing journey by sharing my knowledge, comfort methods and support. As your doula, I will provide 2-3 visits prior to delivery so we can get to know each other and help set up a birth plan. I will stay 1-2 hours past delivery to assist with any assistance you may need. I will allow follow up for one postpartum visit if needed. For an additional cost, I offer placenta encapsulation and postpartum doula services. The postpartum services will consist of up to 4 hours of help for the family. Whether that would be light cleaning, watching the baby while mom naps or showers, or breastfeeding guidance. Please note I am not a lactation consultant, but I am certified in breastfeeding support.
