Visit this Michigan farm for its spiritually-healing mystical lavender labyrinth. The lavender is in full bloom at this time of year.

Purslane is a tasty, easy-to-grow ‘weed’ and a rich source of omega-3's.

What a Fabulous time we had yesterday evening! !! Foraging on Mary''s farm w/ Mary, Mea, & Remy -WOW! We tried to do this program last year but couldn't pull it together. Then, after last night's success we all wanted more if it. You'd be amazed at what all is actually edible right under your nose/feet & not realize it. Definitely more fun to be had w/ this program & it may become a staple yearly event. Big thanks again to Mary for researching & hosting, & to Mea & Remy for their wealth of knowledge they shared w/ everyone, & to everyone who brought such wonderful dishes to share.

Would you like to join us for lunch?

Two weeks prior to our opening for the season, we would like to invite you to lunch. On Saturday, May 21, you are invited to join us at The Farmhouse located one mile from our lavender field.

Meet us there at 1 p.m. to enjoy lavender chicken salad, deviled eggs, yeast rolls with lavender strawberry jam, a green salad with lavender honey dressing, lavender lemonade, and a lavender dessert--possibly our moist golden rum cake!

In addition to our food, we will also share with you the history of our business and the many uses for lavender!

Seating is limited, and you must sign up in advance. Price is $15 per person. Reservations for May 21 may be made at http://www.lavenderhillsofkentucky.com/ #!schedule-tours-and-workshops/czpk.

Remember we also reserve luncheon dates for groups with a minimum of 10 people throughout the season, and check out all of our other offerings for a fun day trip to the farm.
