We are excited to officially announce we have opened a new location in Lexington, Kentucky. With the recent addition of business in the Lexington market, this was a decision that will allow us to serve our clients easier and more efficiently. This will also allow us to pursue more clients in surrounding areas. As always, we take great pride in our products, services, and staff members.

On Friday, June 27, 2025, the owners of Doric Vault of the Bluegrass ventured to Illinois for a large load of supplies. As our business continues to grow, we also added our 6th truck to our fleet with this new Ram 3500 bought in Champaign, Illinois. Doric Vault of the Bluegrass takes great pride in our products, services, our staff, and our fleet of trucks and equipment.

Today's Firefighter Spotlight is Jonathan Woodrum.

Jonathan is our newest member on the department. He has just started the journey of obtaining his KY Basic 1 certification. Jonathan is married to Daphne. Jonathan works for Doric Vault of the Bluegrass.

When not serving families in cemeteries, our co-owner Vernon Pittman also serves his neighbors on the local fire department.

Today's Firefighter Spotlight is Vernon Pittman

Vernon joined Poplar Springs in 2023 and just obtained his KY Basic 1 certification. He is married to Abby Pittman and they have 3 sons. Vernon is an owner of Doric Vault of the Bluegrass. Vernon is now working to obtain his KY Basic 2.

Always willing to drop everything and help out in the community, Vernon is great asset to our department.

Today's Firefighter Spotlight is Sergeant Jason Downs. Jason became a member of Poplar Springs in 2023. After achieving his KY Basic 1 certification in just over a year, Jason is now striving to attain his Level 2 certification. Jason topped the department in training hours last year. Jason is married to Chelsea Downs and is a proud father of his six children. As a devoted firefighter, Jason often lends assistance to other departments throughout the county during emergency calls. Jason is employed by Doric Vault of the Bluegrass.

Three years ago today we installed our first concrete burial vault. The photos are of such vault. Over 2000 vaults later, we are growing our business every day. We appreciate all of customers and look forward to many more years of serving families and funeral homes.
