This Wise Word Wednesday is Connection.
Mary Kay Ash is an American businesswoman and the founder of Mary Kay Cosmetics. She once said, “Everyone has an invisible sign hanging from their neck saying, ‘Make me feel important.’”
I believe that’s true. I intentionally smile while in public and look people directly in the eye, maybe give a nod. And you know what? Many of them smile back at me. These small gestures remind people they matter. I see you.
During this Thanksgiving season, I invite you to choose connection. Imagine each person you pass is wearing that invisible sign. Offer kindness, and you’ll not only make their day, but you’ll also lift your own spirit too.
Connection is contagious.
