6 Weeks Post-Op Update! 🙌
Can you believe it’s been 6 weeks since my ACDF surgery? Time flies when you’re deep in the healing process! Currently navigating occupational PT and rebuilding strength and mobility every day.
The exciting news: I’m officially taking appointment requests for DECEMBER! 🎉
After months of being on the receiving end of care (which has given me even more appreciation for what we do), I am SO ready to get back to helping YOU feel better!
My hands are itching to get back to untangling knots and helping bodies heal. If you’ve been waiting patiently (thank you!), now’s the time to book your appointment. 💙

3 Weeks Post-Op Reflections ✨
Three weeks since my ACDF surgery and I’ve learned SO much about healing, advocacy, and trusting my body. Here’s what I want to share:
Listen to YOUR body. No one knows it better than you do. If something feels off, speak up.
Be your own advocate. Learn everything you can BEFORE approving any medical care. Ask questions. Do research. When you’re part of the decision-making process, you heal faster because you understand what’s happening to your body.
Movement is medicine. I’ve been gently moving my body post-op. If something hurts, I stop. There’s no award for pushing through pain.

Listen to what your body is telling you.

Your body WANTS to heal. It’s designed to heal. Believe in that power.
Healing isn’t just the recovery after. It’s the ENTIRE journey - from the moment you acknowledge something’s wrong, through diagnosis, treatment decisions, surgery, and beyond. Every step is part of your healing story.
This journey has reminded me why I love what I do as a massage therapist - helping people reconnect with and trust their bodies. Can’t wait to get back to it! 💙

Recovery has given me an unexpected gift - the time to watch the trees change outside my window, and to feel myself changing too. Just as these trees let go and transform with the seasons, I’m learning to let go and allow myself to be supported, to receive love, to heal…

My community has shown up in ways that have humbled and amazed me - meals delivered, texts checking in, prayers lifted up, grace extended. I’m learning that accepting help isn’t weakness; it’s trust. It’s allowing others to be the hands and feet of love when you need them most.

Watching these colors shift and glow each day reminds me that transformation is natural, necessary, and beautiful - even when it’s uncomfortable. Grateful for this season, for this view, and for every person who has carried me through it. - Heartfelt Thank You🍂💛🙌
