We got out and about in our local community and got to give some of our time, donate to a few good causes, and provide some free services to our raffle winner 😎

Starting next week we resume our free community walks in Limestone County😎

With warmer weather and longer days, April is the perfect time to build healthy habits. That’s why Move Alabama — A Community Physical Activity Challenge is happening all month long. This statewide effort from EFNEP encourages simple ways to add more movement to your day, like taking a 10-minute walk, joining a group activity, or exploring a local park.

County Extension offices across Alabama are hosting fun pop-up events, and participants can receive regular tips, encouragement, and motivation throughout the challenge. Best of all, it only takes a personal commitment to move more to get started.

As an Integrated Health Specialist I help bridge the gap between traditional westernized healthcare & alternative natural therapies.

We are lucky enough to be educated on the best of both worlds!

I’ve studied Group Fitness, Virtual Coaching and Behavioral Change with the National Academy of Sports Medicine as well as alternative and natural modalities such as Yoga, Meditation, Yoga Therapy, Ayurveda, Pain Management, Ayurvedic Pharmacology, Yogic Psychology & Neuro Linguistic Programming. Continuing education is my favorite pastime, and something I will continue forever!
