Bought an $80 jacket online that I have been eyeing for a few months - - - received it and wayyy not the right fit for me. Going to send it back! (Love online shopping 😄) I’ll just keep the one in the picture that my mom left at my house before lockdown happened 🙃

It was a fairly easy buy - - - I’ve also had about $75 worth of probiotics and vitamins sitting in an online cart for the same amount of time . . . Why was it so much easier for me to pull the trigger on the jacket?! This is like 6 months worth of probiotics and vitamins that I have been wanting to try (various types)!

Let’s get our priorities straight - or at least get our priorities ALIGNED with what our goals in life are ❤️ a super cute jacket may be what you are looking for in this stage of life but for me I know my gut health is going to do me loads better in the long run ❤️

- whatever that may be right now.

Happy Valentine’s Day! A day of ❤️. Remember to Love the most important person in your life, yourself. We all need to remember to treat our minds and bodies with love, respect and care. One way I do this is I take time to run, work out, or some quiet meditation or yoga. Another Way to treat my body and mind with respect and love is to eat healthy. A new treat that I’ve discovered that I love to have after a good work out or run is a Can’t Beat Me Smoothie from my favorite cookbook “Run Fast, Cook Fast, Eat Slow” by Shalane Flanagan and Elyse Kopecky. Always trying to get more veggies in! My goal is to have veggies at every meal. I think I really need to start aiming higher and get my 6-9 servings of veggies in.

Find yourself waking up between 1 & 4 am?

Look into helping your liver out!

Could be your cortisol levels dropping and waking you up - grab a light snack that includes protein/fats/carbs around 9:30 and then bed by 10 (even better if you go to bed sooner!).

Sleep is sooo important!!!

Taking the time out to enjoy all the things life has to offer is one of the best gifts you can give those around you.

Slow down for a minute and look around. Watch an airplane soar overhead! Think about all this world is made up of. Don’t get overwhelmed though 😄

Graham loves airplanes so we made sure we gave ourselves enough time to go watch them before picking John up from the airport. Looking at the world through his eyes is amazing and helps me slow down a little.

We are going through a phase of not wanting to eat much of anything at meal times. Graham is a great eater so I know this is just a phase and I don’t keep junk in our house (that he knows about - I have my stashes!) so he doesn’t have the option to just snack all day and skip meals.

This was a few days ago at lunch time (that’s his breakfast that he didn’t eat and lunch that he took 3 bites of).

He ended up eating all shown here AND some of what we made for dinner before going to bed. He’s just testing me 🙃 or understands his own body better than I do and truly wasn’t hungry.

We can take a lesson from him and listen to our hunger cues better.
