Creative Minds Early Learning Center

Creative Minds Early Learning Center Learning Through Play Let's wait to put our children in a classroom before they are ready. Creative Minds is a true play-based learning center.

With child-led learning, our goal is to foster trusting relationships between teachers and children, encouraging educators to facilitate in-the-moment planning while maintaining consistent boundaries. This approach empowers children and values their ideas, proving to be very effective in engaging children and helping them develop important skills.

Our thoughtfully planned learning environment has a diverse range of resources to support children's growth and development across different subject areas and developmental domains. This approach fosters independence and encourages children to explore different play styles. With over 6,000 square feet, we limit our intake to 75 children, therefore ensuring our little ones will have plenty of room and space to explore, learn, and create.

We love caring for our little ones!

Early childhood educators play a vital role in creating and nurturing a community for young learners. At Creative Minds, we strive to provide a physical environment that supports social and emotional development, as well as cognitive growth. These elements are essential for each child's learning and overall development. Our teachers and the children in our care respect, support, and value one another as they work together to achieve common goals.

We aim to build positive relationships, help children develop executive functioning and self-regulation skills, and foster empathy by teaching the importance of each person's unique value.

Raise them to be kind and let them be little!

The summer months are a time of transformation for children, leading to important changes in their physical, mental, and social development. As families look forward to long, sunny days, this season plays a crucial role in helping children grow. During summer, children gain new skills and learn valuable lessons in teamwork, executive functioning, critical thinking, problem-solving, and resilience, all while engaging in play and exploring the world around them. For children, summer represents a period of freedom.

“Education is not the learning of facts, but the training of the mind to think.” ~ Albert Einstein

The primary goal of education should be to develop critical thinking, logical reasoning, analytical skills, and creativity. The true essence of education should go beyond memorization; it should equip us with the tools to think critically, solve problems, and engage in a lifelong exploration of the world around us. In an ever-changing environment where information is readily accessible, the ability to think critically and make informed decisions is increasingly essential.

Educators should not just be instructors of knowledge but instead, mentors who play a vital role in developing a student’s capacity for independent and critical thought. They should create an environment where students feel encouraged to explore, question, and engage, ultimately helping them grow.

We are a child's childhood. The way we care for children isn't just shaping them, but it becomes part of their memories and their sense of home within themselves. Each interaction we have—how we move through the day, how we speak, how we respond, and the atmosphere we create—contributes to the story they will cherish for a lifetime. These experiences will stay with them long after childhood has passed. Be the reason a child feels welcomed, seen, heard, valued, and loved!

The most precious sight in the world is a child's smile, and the most beautiful sound is their laughter. If you watch and listen, children make you believe the world is magical, no matter your struggles!
