My random moments of thought…..

Why do we yell. Is it to be intimidating. To show dominance. It’s it the only way to express what real emotion we are currently feeling because we don’t know the true way to express it. Do we think it’s the only way we are heard? What we don’t realize yelling accomplishes nothing but a moment of relief but usually hours of regret and unresolved circumstances. When you yell you are not heard, stay with me on this. The sound, the exultation of the volume is heard, but the words don’t exist in the ears of the others you yell at. I truly believe this is why the argument or the moment of exultation extends beyond what’s needed. So when you feel you need to yell step away in your own safe space away from others. Void the irrational comments you know are not meant to speak. Once you have collected your self step forward and speak without volume. Connect visually eye to eye and now in that moment you know you are heard and not just heard it’s a moment some of us only need , acknowledgment.
