Brainspotting: A Deeper Way to Release What You’ve Been Carrying
There are things we carry that don’t always have words.
Stress that builds over time. Emotions we pushed down because we had to keep going. Moments that stayed in the body long after they passed. You can talk about them, try to understand them, even feel like you’ve worked through them… and still notice they’re there.
That’s where brainspotting comes in.
Brainspotting is a technique that works with the brain and body to process what’s been stored beneath the surface. It’s based on the idea that where you look affects how you feel. By finding specific eye positions—called brainspots—we can access parts of the brain where emotion, memory, and trauma are held.
Instead of talking your way through healing, brainspotting allows your body to lead.
And your body knows.
From a more spiritual perspective, this work is about tuning into your inner world in a way most of us were never taught to do. It’s about slowing down enough to notice what’s actually there—without forcing it, without judging it, without needing it to make perfect sense.
When we find a brainspot, it often connects to something that’s been stuck—emotionally or energetically. As you stay with it, your system begins to process and release in its own way. Sometimes that looks like emotion coming up, sometimes physical sensations, sometimes memories, and sometimes just a quiet shift.
Nothing is forced. You’re not pushed. You’re supported.
One of the tools used during sessions is bilateral sound—gentle tones that move from one ear to the other through headphones. This helps keep your brain regulated and present while you go deeper. It allows both sides of the brain to communicate, creating a sense of safety while your system processes what it’s been holding.
You don’t have to explain everything. You don’t have to relive every detail. You don’t even have to fully understand what’s coming up.
Your body already does.
This kind of work can feel like releasing emotional weight you didn’t realize you were still carrying. People often notice more clarity, a sense of calm, or feeling more like themselves again. Not because something new was added—but because something that didn’t belong anymore was finally able to move.
That said, this is real processing. You might feel emotional, tired, or sensitive afterward. That’s not a bad thing—it’s your system doing exactly what it’s meant to do. Integration and care afterward are just as important as the session itself.
At its core, brainspotting is about connection.
Connection to your body.
Connection to your emotions.
Connection to the parts of you that have been waiting to be seen and
You’re creating space to come back into alignment—with yourself.

And this is the space I hold for you.
I offer brainspotting sessions in a way that is both grounded and intuitive—meeting you exactly where you are, without pressure or expectation. This isn’t about forcing breakthroughs or chasing outcomes. It’s about allowing your system to move in the way it needs to, with support, safety, and presence.
At the end of each session, I incorporate gentle integration through journaling and/or drawing. This gives your body and mind another way to release what surfaced—especially the things that don’t quite have words yet. Sometimes what you process internally finds its way out through your hands, through expression, through quiet reflection. It’s an added layer of release that helps you carry the work forward, not just leave it in the session.
Each session is $50 and includes time for both the brainspotting process and integration afterward.
If you’ve been feeling like something is still sitting beneath the surface… this work meets you there.
