💧 How much water should you actually be drinking?

Hydration plays a huge role in your energy, focus, and performance — yet it’s one of the most overlooked parts of training. Even mild dehydration can tank your workouts and slow recovery.

A good rule of thumb:
👉 Drink half your body weight (in lbs) in ounces of water daily.
💪 Add more if you’re sweating heavily or training outdoors.
⚡️ Bonus: Add electrolytes or fruit for extra hydration and flavor.

Short answer: YES.

Your muscles break down during training, and protein helps repair, rebuild, and make them stronger. Aim for 20–30g of high-quality protein within 30–60 minutes post-workout and pair it with carbs to refuel your energy.
