The vernal equinox marks a moment of balance, equal light and dark, and the true turning point from winter’s inward pull toward spring’s awakening energy. It’s a powerful time to reset, not by pushing or depriving, but by clearing space and reconnecting to what wants to grow.

Spring Awakening Reset (Without the Crash) is a 2-hour seasonal workshop designed to help you shed winter heaviness, wake up your energy, and regain clarity without aggressive cleanses or rigid routines. Especially if your system feels sensitive, foggy, or easily overwhelmed, this reset meets you where you are.

Through gentle, rhythmic movement, we’ll invite circulation and momentum back into the body. A short grounding meditation will help you integrate the effects of movement and settle your nervous system before we shift into practical, real-life tools for spring.

You’ll learn simple ways to support digestion, energy, and focus through spring-friendly foods, easy teas, and daily habits that encourage clarity without burning you out. Reflection and intention-setting are woven throughout the experience.

Rather than forcing a “spring detox,” this workshop focuses on resetting your rhythm, moving energy, simplifying gently, and aligning with the natural momentum of the season.

You’ll leave with:

My home studio is officially ready, and I’m so excited to start welcoming people into this cozy little corner for practice, healing, and deep exhale moments.

There’s something tender about closing a chapter that held you so well.

This past year at the 207 in Lincolnton was more than just shared space. it was collaboration, growth, quiet moments between sessions, and the kind of support that doesn’t always need words. 🦄

Ok, so maybe not a ton of *quiet* moments between sessions... but what's the point of sharing space if it's not a freaking blast in between sessions? 😂

Deep gratitude to Sabbath for inviting me into that container. What we built there mattered. It held people and it held me when I needed it most. 🖤

As she begins a new chapter in Denver, and I begin transitioning into a home studio space of my own, there’s a bittersweetness here, but more than that, there’s a sense of right timing. 💯

Expansion doesn’t always look like more. Sometimes it looks like refining, re-rooting, listening for what’s next, and trusting it enough to follow. ✨️

To everyone who walked through those doors, received care, or simply shared presence with us there... thank you. You were part of what made it what it was. 🙏🏽

Late winter is a strange place to be.

The holidays are long gone, spring isn’t here yet. Energy feels low, motivation is inconsistent, and many of us quietly push through feeling a little brittle around the edges.

If you’ve been feeling more tired, more inward, more sensitive, or just done with winter, you’re not doing anything wrong.

This is exactly the moment the body and nervous system ask for softening.

The Heart Space: Softening the Bitter End of Winter is not about pushing or fixing. It’s about warming what’s been cold, breathing into what’s been tight, and making space before the season turns again.

It’s impossible to pretend everything is fine right now.

A lot of what we’re witnessing is painful, unjust, and deeply wrong. Many people are feeling anger, grief, fear, or exhaustion watching harm unfold in real time. Caring and outrage about that doesn’t make you dramatic. It makes you human.

At Offbeat Wellness, we don’t believe in bypassing reality in the name of “staying positive.” But we also don’t believe that constant outrage or nervous system collapse helps us create change.

The world does not need more burned-out, disconnected people.
It needs people who can stay present. Clear. Regulated enough to act with intention instead of reaction.

🖤 Rest is not withdrawal.
🖤 Grounding is not silence.
🖤 Taking care of your nervous system is not apathy.

It’s how we stay capable of compassion.
It’s how we stay in community.
It’s how we keep showing up when things are hard.

You’re allowed to be angry about what’s happening.
You’re also allowed to breathe while you figure out what to do next.

Both can be true.

Studio update 🖤

After February, Sabbath and I will not be renewing the lease on our shared downtown Lincolnton studio. As the building is for sale and we are kinda getting the run-around from the landlord, we’ve chosen to listen closely to what feels most aligned and to move forward with intention rather than wait in uncertainty. This happens to be perfectly aligned and divine timing for the next chapter of Offbeat Wellness and the official launch of the OBW Collective!

A home-based studio is in the works, and I’m genuinely excited about what’s unfolding! In the meantime, after February all virtual offerings continue as usual, and I’ll be offering house calls for non-virtual sessions as needed until I get settled.

This shift is about creating quieter, more intentional space for nervous system care, presence, and personalized support.

Bookings remain open, and you’re always welcome to reach out with questions or to explore what kind of support feels most nourishing right now.

The Heart Space is a 2-hour workshop designed to help you soften what’s hardened, move what’s stuck, and reconnect to warmth without forcing positivity or pushing your body past its limits.

We’ll blend gentle, heart-opening movement, grounding touch and breath practices, and simple rituals you can actually take home to support your nervous system as winter slowly loosens its grip.
