Thanks to all those that came out to the Lindsay City Park and Lindsay Wellness Center this past Saturday for the annual health fair and car seat checkup!! All the kiddos had a great time learning about health and safety, and meeting super famous characters…not to mention police and firefighters!! 😍

Just a bit warm at Seat Check Saturday, but there’s now 18 new Child Passenger Safety Technicians in the Central Valley. A whole bunch of kiddos are also safer in their seats thanks to Safe Kids Central California, Valley Children’s Hospital, CHP, and all the other community partners that made this event possible.

We’re back!!!!!

Fresh off the summer hiatus, we’re out in Visalia helping parents and caregivers make sure their kiddos are riding safe. We’ll be out and about in Tulare County once a month doing free, public car seat checkup events, so check back to see when we’re going to be in your neighborhood. Great weather for a car seat checkup! We had an awesome time helping some Lindsay kiddos ride a little safer. Just a reminder if you’re in the market for a new car seat, Target is offering 20% off with the trade in of an old seat. And if you need help installing that new seat, you know who to call…😉

Sooooooooo, if you slept in this morning you missed an awesome event at Lincoln Elementary School in Lindsay! We were on site with the Lindsay Kiwanis, Awake Skate Shop, CHP, Lindsay PD and great service clubs and vendors for a combination car seat checkup and bike rodeo! We did 32 inspections, replaced 13 car seats, and the Kiwanis gave away 77 bicycle helmets!!! Kiddos also went home with free bikes, scooters, and skateboards donated by the Kiwanis and CHP, and Awake Skate Shop 👏🏻

Special thanks to Tulare County Supervisor Micari and Lindsay City Council Members Soria and Flores and Mayor Villarreal for stopping in and even helping a bit with paperwork 😃

Thank you to Strathmore Middle School for allowing us to host a car seat checkup this morning. We’re always available to help with any car seat needs, even if you have to hop a fence! 😂😂😂. Thank you also to TCAG, Tulare County Public Health, and the CHP Porterville and Visalia Area Offices. Come check us out next month in Lindsay!!
