We Honor our brave Veterans on Today as well recognizing the contributions of some very amazing women as well !!! Meet Marcella Hayes Ng and Shaye Haver !!! Two very amazing women !!!

Shaye Lynne Haver is one of the two first women, , to ever graduate from the US Army Ranger School,

Marcella Hays Ang Alabama, became the first black woman, and the 55th woman, to become a pilot in the United States Armed Forces.

In a world with so much uncertainty we want to show that kindness and care for others is on display . Each and every year during the holidays our volunteers prepare a Thank You Box for the amazing delivery drivers . Often times the drivers are sooo busy with all the Holiday deliveries they don’t get a chance to stop and grab a snack so we make sure we provide a variety of options for our delivery drivers .

Kindness is Free and we pride ourselves with making sure those who provide us services know they are appreciated.

Over these last couple weeks we have had to pivot to meet the needs of our community members . We had several individual events planned a couple weekends in a row but that all came to a hard Pause and we had to pivot to provide emergency supplies to our Student Menstruators when it became a reality that SNAP benefits would be impacted .

On last week we had to act quickly to get Period Supplies in the hands of Student Menstruators . We provided over 600 Grab and Go Period Packages to Student Menstruators right here in Arkansas. We are thankful to be able to support our Student Menstruators as we have always done so !!!! We are thankful for all the generous donations that allow us to continue serving the community . We started out with over 600 bags and we didn’t leave the building with any leftovers . We must also take this time to thank our friends over Scensibles for their donation of disposal bags for Period Supplies .

Arkansas we have a serious Period Poverty Problem !!!!!!! Did you know food insecurity has a direct link to Period Poverty ?????

Drop by and visit with our friends over Esse Museum & Store to visit their new exhibit Henry and Nolan a Retrospective of History Photography and the Arkansas Women Behind the Camera . Did we mention they are the only Purse Museum in America and woman owned right here in Arkansas !!! They are located at 1510 Main Street Little Rock Arkansas !!!!! Tell them More Chances Period told you to drop in !!!!

You can also drop off Period Supplies for us at their amazing Museum , they offer free admission with the donation of Period Supplies .

During these very uncertain times More Chances Period has continued to support our Student Menstruators who are in need of. On Sunday we stopped by CALS Terry Library to drop off 200 bags of Grab and Go Period Supply Bags to support our friends over Little Rock School District who is teaming up Central Arkansas Library System for a Hygiene Drive .

Even in uncertain times we continue to support those who are in need . We will continue to serve all of Arkansas with Intensity and Consistency.

All products will be distributed to LRSD school based health clinics. Supplies should be free

Our friends over Be Mighty Little Rock are absolutely amazing !!!!!!

The Central Arkansas Library System operates CACFP and SFSP through its Be Mighty program, serving over 63,000 meals and snacks each year.

We NEED your HELP !!!!!!

About 240,000 Arkansans receive SNAP benefits each month .

We have been contacted by several families who are currently faced with the threat of NO SNAP benefits for the month of November!!!!! These are student Menstruators families who will be without much needed support !!!! The families are facing the daunting task of choosing to buy what little food they may be able to purchase with their own funds or purchasing period supplies for their student on next month which means they will miss school due to lack of supplies!!!!

We are asking for donations of period supplies . You can order directly off our Amazon Wish List or you may drop supplies off locally with our friends over Esse Museum & Store located at 1510 Main Street Little Rock Arkansas . ( They offer free admission to their amazing Purse museum with your donation !!!!!!
