Period Poverty has a huge impact on Student Menstruators lives from the impact of shame and embarrassment and isolation that causes some students to drop out of school all the way to limited job opportunities due to not being able to complete their education ,

Take the pledge to talk to 3 people about the effects of Period Poverty for Student Menstruators ( you can save any of our graphics and send them to the people you want to talk about period poverty) . Find 3 people in your contacts and send them graphics from our page . A strong talking point would be “Hey did you know sometimes Students have to use old newspapers with germs as period supplies ??? ) Report back to this post to let us know how the conversation went !!

Did you know Students who suffer from Period Poverty often have to result to using Newspapers, Cotton, wool , old socks , toilet tissue , makeup pads , torn up old underwear, old rags , and plastic bags !!!! These are Real Students in Arkansas with the lack of Period Supplies !!!! Can you imagine sitting on top of newspapers full of germs in your underwear in high school trying to learn math while you have your period …. Yea we can’t either …
