โœจ Resident Spotlight - Wanda Cable โœจ

Wanda was born in 1938 in Ridgeway, Missouri, where she was raised with strong values of faith, family, and kindness. In 1957, she married her husband, Terry, and together they have shared a wonderful 67 years of marriage. Their life together has been filled with love, laughter, and the joy of raising three beautiful children.

Wanda is a lifelong crafter with a special love for sewing. Over the years, she has created countless handmade piecesโ€”clothing, quilts, and treasures stitched with care. She even considered starting her own childrenโ€™s clothing line. One of her proudest accomplishments is making her daughterโ€™s wedding dress, a true labor of love and craftsmanship.

At the heart of everything Wanda does is her deep faith in Jesus. Her relationship with Him has been the foundation of her marriage, her family, and the way she approaches each day. Wanda looks back on her life with gratitude, knowing she has been blessed, and she wouldnโ€™t change a thing.

Truly a joy to welcome The Traveling Orphan Choir to The Blake ๐Ÿฅฐ The children part of the choir are from Peru and South Africa and sing all over the country! Thank you for bringing so many smiles and great joy to our residents ๐ŸŽค ๐ŸŽถ
