This November, Youth Home honors the ancestral and traditional homelands of the Osage, Quapaw, and Caddo peoples, among others whose stories are too often untold.

In Recognition of Native American Heritage Month, we offer deep respect and gratitude to the Indigenous peoples who have cared for this land since time immemorial and who continue to shape its cultural and spiritual landscape today.

As an organization dedicated to healing, belonging, we commit to:
🌿 Learning and teaching the histories and present experiences of Indigenous peoples
🌿 Practicing cultural humility in our care and language
🌿 Uplifting Indigenous voices and leadership

We were honored to welcome Representatives Andrew Collins and Tippi McCullough to Youth Home!

Both were recently named Behavioral Health Champions by the Arkansas Council for Behavioral Health, and we were proud to present them with their pins in recognition of their continued support of behavioral health–positive legislation this session.

We appreciated the opportunity to share as constituents—discussing both our successes and the challenges we’re facing, including the impact of disrupted funding for our military youth during the recent government shutdown.

Advocacy is vital to ensuring that our clients receive the care and support they deserve. We’re thankful for leaders who champion behavioral health and stand beside us in our mission to change lives and save families. 💙
