Hey friends,
I wanted to share a quick update with you. I've recently sustained a significant neck and arm injury that has made it difficult to sit or work for extended periods. At this point, I believe it may be an overuse injury related to massage, but I'll know more after I see my specialist later this week. I'm taking things day by day, and I want to sincerely thank those of you who have already been so patient and understanding as I've had to shift a few appointments around. Your kindness truly means more to me than I can say.
Because my healing timeline is still uncertain, I've temporarily turned off online booking. I am tentatively scheduling appointments for next week, but I'll be doing so manually so we can remain flexible if plans need to change. If you currently have an appointment booked, I'll be reaching out about two days prior to confirm whether I'm able to keep it. And if you'd prefer to reschedule now for a later date, just let me know-we'll absolutely play it by ear as I learn more.
This has been a difficult and emotional experience for me, as my work with you all is something I deeply love. I'm hopeful for a smooth and speedy recovery and can't wait to be back doing what I do best. In the meantime, my family and I run a small business called The Hermetic Bloom, where we make handmade, all-organic sugar scrubs, body oils, and lotions. If you feel called to check it out, it would mean the world to me and help support my family during this pause. The website is still being updated but everything that we have for sale is there.
Thank you, always, for your continued support and care.
Be well,
Jessica
