Tomorrow is a Holy Day of Obligation for Catholics as we observe the Solemnity of Mary. We invite our coworkers, patients and families to attend mass at the Infirmary tomorrow at noon. Our chapels at all of our hospitals are open 24/7 to people of all faith traditions.

CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs is celebrating the delivery of our 1,000th baby of the year! On Dec. 23, 2025, we were honored to deliver Zylani Johnson for mother Quanique Coleman. We're happy to share that mother and baby are doing well. What a landmark for our labor and delivery team!

Our final Pets of St. Vincent for 2025 are Lucy and Twix, owned by Traci VanEcko at the Infirmary! These beautiful Shelties are in the holiday spirit and ready for presents. Preferably treats. And snacks. There's still time to get to the pet store, mom.

We're happy to announce that Lexy Hemphill, RN, at the Infirmary has won the DAISY Award from the DAISY Foundation! Lexy was honored for taking care of a readmitted patient with a heart condition. The patient's family said Lexy made them feel like they were the only ones in the hospital, making sure both the patient and family members had everything they needed. Congratulations, Lexy!

Congrats to Dr. Ryan Waters, ED physician at North, on being named a CHI St. Vincent Service Hero! Dr. Waters recently had an uninsured patient who couldn't afford her meds. Instead of just writing a prescription, Dr. Waters took time to make some calls and find an affordable option. He then sat down with her and thoroughly explained her new meds and answered all her questions. Dr. Waters made sure to give the patient the help she needed most, and for that we are so proud to honor him today!
