Congratulations to Rita Smith, lead MRI technologist at the Infirmary, on receiving the Patient's Choice Award! Rita was praised by a patient who filled out one of our surveys, saying that Rita was caring and compassionate when the patient was anxious about the exam. It made a big enough impact on the patient that they took time to write to us about her. You rock, Rita!

Our Pet of St. Vincent this week is Courtlyn, a chihuahua owned by Danya Robertson, APRN, at Morrilton! Courtlyn's personality is much bigger than her physical size, as she is known to keep the horses in check and boss the family around as needed. But she's also very playful, willing to make friends with adults and kids of all ages. We're big fans of Courtlyn!

Congratulations to our Hot Springs LDRP team on being named CHI St. Vincent Service Heroes! The team is being honored for a rapid response involving a pr*****ed umbilical cord that was cutting off oxygen. From the moment the patient pulled into the parking lot to the moment her baby was safely delivered (crying loudly) was just seven minutes! This was a situation that required fast and effective teamwork to deliver a positive result, and the Hot Springs LDRP team delivered. Wonderful job, all of you!
