Incase you feel alone in feeling "blah":
"Languishing is the neglected middle child of mental health. It’s the void between depression and flourishing — the absence of well-being. You don’t have symptoms of mental illness, but you’re not the picture of mental health either. You’re not functioning at full capacity. Languishing dulls your motivation, disrupts your ability to focus, and triples the odds that you’ll cut back on work. It appears to be more common than major depression — and in some ways it may be a bigger risk factor for mental illness."

The neglected middle child of mental health can dull your motivation and focus — and it may be the dominant emotion of 2021.

is the state of being worn out by recommended precautions and restrictions relating to the pandemic.

Symptoms include:
Depression
Lack of motivation
Irritability
Hopelessness
Apathy
Anxiety
Chronic stress response

What you can do:
Prioritize self-care
Plan something to look forward to
Zoom with friends
Switch up your routine
Put on your favorite song and dance
Start one healthy habit like:
Take 10 mindful breaths daily
Take a 20 minute walk daily
Write in a journal daily

SOCIAL INTERACTION is key (and difficult during these times). So get creative: Zoom and wine sessions with friends, Zoom Trivia Nights. Walk and talk in a park on a sunny day. Have a folding laundry and chat session with a family member.
