3-2-1 was something we shared in our Gratitude calls last week. Type your answers below (it’s also something good to do with your teams as well).

3- things you’re grateful for; can be one word answers

2- things you’re releasing/rejecting from your mind. Might be guilt, shame, negative comments in your head or negative energy from those around you. What is dimming your light and holding you back?

1- affirmation; what would your future self tell your present self? What do you need to hear someone say to you? “I am…”, is a great sentence starter for this.

I’m so grateful for the things that I have but also what I have been attracting lately.

My heart is full. Just yesterday I was was shaking and crying with no explanation. And as soon as I close my eye and put my hand over my heart ❤️ it feels assuring and comforting that I am on my path and that I am WORTHY!
This is just a dust particle of what I am just reflecting as I sat in Meditation this evening.
More to come but right now this is all I can tell you.

Ever curious Why we never stick to something for a long time especially our workout routine and resolutions!!!

I met Carly on a zoom meeting .inspire.grow couple of months back and she gives a presentation about different aspects about workout, mindset, and strategies for achieving your goals or how to create a balanced workout routine.

I loved every single minute of her talking because she was so good at presenting her topics and created such great slides for everyone to kind of sit with it for a minute.

I have known about meditation since 2005, learned more about it during my yoga teacher training, knew what it can do for us, and yet I only started practicing recently because the divine timing was right for me.

SELFLOVE - Feel it, Pour it

If you want to Receive and Give Love 💕 you have to Love yourself.
No matter what age, gender, country you are, we all need to feel special and it doesn’t have to be external.

It doesn’t need to come from someone else.
Love is not felt with material things. It’s the illusion of being loved.
Tangible and material things maybe important in your childhood.
Teenage and twenties have different meanings to being loved.
Decade later we are still looking for ways to express and receive affection from our friends, colleagues, family in external things and material ways.
Another decade passes. We start to feel responsible and mature, and as we get busy, we forget to talk about Love or even deprive ourselves of SELFLOVE.
After another decade, we learn that those material things to get attention from others and to feel good about ourselves are of not as much significance as getting to know ourselves and what makes us FEEL BETTER. We start to realize that we were looking for something that we could have given to ourselves from within long time ago.
When we start to slow down and spend time with ourselves, we begin looking for Love that’s been sitting in our hearts and we never used it.

So if you’re reading this and find yourself wondering, connect with yourself during the day and see what is it that you really need and feel. Spend few minutes with yourself and scan your body and mind for what is most comfortable spot to give and receive Love. 💕💘💝 💗 ❤️

In 2023, when we hear or say the word “Wellness”, I think most of us are very aware of what it means.

It’s has become a buzz word since pandemic but has been evolving for couple decades now in western world.

I’m 52 and I didn’t know what Wellness is, until I became a Yoga teacher 7 years ago. Wellness could mean different things to different people. It could be in layers unveiled one at a time. It could have a shallow effect on some and deep impact on others.
It may take long time for some to realize it’s meaning and with right background, some people can get it right away and go deeper.
There can be many different aspects to it from medicine, meditation, nutrition, therapy, various forms of workout, different modalities of healing, journaling, reading/listening, acceptance, curiosity and being open to adapting.

What would you include in your Wellness plan? What does Wellness mean to you?

Wellness is a broad term and can be different from person to person.

To me Wellness means -

💫Staying physically active to keep our body moving and this way we keep our joints lubricated and muscles strong.

💫Not always possible but try to stay aware of your health and nutrition. Just being aware keeps you in check.

💫Doing things that feel comfortable and right for you in that particular moment.

💫Staying connected to your emotions and feelings and reflecting on your thoughts, speech, behavior. Staying truthful to yourself.

💫Being respectful and setting boundaries and taking responsibility of Selfcare.

💫Having a purpose and vision so you stay focused and look forward to achieving your goals.

💫Staying open for possibilities and opportunities.

💫Believing in yourself and not giving up on yourself. Don’t resist and go with the flow.

💫Your thoughts lead you to your destiny so keep your thoughts positive and surround yourself with energy that lifts you up.

Everything you are is because of your past experiences and this is exactly where you are supposed to be.

Get stories out of your head and follow your dreams.

You are responsible for who you are and what you can be.
Let go of worries, fears, guilt, shame, doubts and insecurities and move forward, be bold, take risk, be confident, and dream big.
Don’t fear change and uncertainty, write your fears and what is stopping you from taking a step forward and then burn them down.
Changing your mindset, changes our perspective and purpose and keeps us moving in the direction of our goals.
Don’t let your subconscious mind let you stay stuck in one place.

A psychologist was teaching Stress Management to an audience.
 
She raised a cup of water, and asked everyone
 
"How heavy do you think this glass of water is"
 
Expecting another "Half -full/half empty" question, the crowd have various answers...
 
15oz, 22oz, 8oz,12.5oz ...
 
"Well," She said.

"The absolute weight doesn't matter"
 
"It depends on how long I hold it"
 
"A minute won't be a problem"
 
"After an hour, I might feel a full ache"
 
"If I hold it a day, my arm would feel paralyzed but"
 
"The weight of the water never changed"
 
"The longer I hold, the heavier it felt"
 
The stress and worries of our life are just like this glass of water
 
Think about them for a while, nothing happens
 
Think about them longer, and it starts to hurt
 
Think about them all day and you'll feel paralyzed and helpless
 
Learn to put the glass down
 
Live Happy
Because you deserve it.

Have we ever thought why we complain!
Is it because we forget that there can be a different perspective?
Could we look at the situation from different angle?
We don’t realize what we see is not single dimensional or simple.
Maybe we are not ready to accept the reality.
Or sometimes we don’t feel we are in control or can change anything.
Oh yes! We have to be ready to take step forward and take leadership to make a difference. That seems scary and we are not always prepared. So it is easy to complain.
Do you agree?
Stop and think about it when you are about to complain.
