Take Action! Tell Congress to provide access to health care for all: https://bit.ly/ExtendMktPlaceCRs

Anxiety is rising among congressional Republicans that their party has no plan to address a critical health care deadline this fall that will result in spiking costs for millions of Americans – the issue at the heart of the deepening government shutdown crisis.

Millions of Americans are at risk of losing their health coverage. Congress has already made massive cuts to Medicaid and are now putting working families who purchase their insurance on the marketplace at risk.

Take Action today: https://bit.ly/ExtendMktPlaceCRs

We’re down to the wire: Open Enrollment begins in 10 days.

If Congress doesn’t extend the health care tax credit, premiums will more than double for millions, forcing families to choose between paying the bills or keeping their coverage.

This tax credit keeps coverage affordable for working families, small business owners, farmers, and people nearing retirement. The window is closing fast.
Congress must extend the health care tax credit now.

Unless Congress acts quickly to extend the enhanced ACA marketplace premium tax credits, nearly 5 million people could lose health insurance coverage in 2026.

It's time to get some facts straight...

Emergency Medicaid accounts for less than 1% of total spending, even in states with large undocumented populations.

Proposed reductions under the Budget Reconciliation Law of 2025 will yield minimal savings but may disproportionately affect safety net hospitals and clinicians.

Donna Wilhelm, VP of Advocacy for Trinity Health Continuing Care participated in a National PACE Association Annual Conference panel discussion and analysis of HR 1 and its implications for Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE). While not explicitly named in the legislation, the bill will have significant impact on the provisions of care and services for elderly patients who participate in PACE across the nation.

Rural Americans already face higher health insurance premiums than their urban counterparts. Without an extension of the Health Care Tax Credits, those premiums could rise even further—making essential care unaffordable and out of reach for millions.

We urge Congress to act swiftly and extend these critical tax credits. The health and well-being of rural communities depend on it.
